The goal of these suggestions are to reduce early leaving, AFK idles, and toxic gameplay behavior, such as throwing teammates under the bus for challenges, as much as possible.
- XP is rewarded only upon match completion, same as the current system.
- Winning gives equal bonus XP to the entire team, and is progressively distributed in non-team modes, with the lowest scoring player getting the least amount of XP.
- Objective-based medals inherently earn more XP than kill-based medals
- Kill-based medals earn more XP when the team is in an advantagous state in a symmetric mode such as possessing the Oddball or having control of most of the Strongholds.
- Completing a match gives a small amount of flat XP, no matter the mode or individual or team performance.
- XP bonuses for playlists are given only during limited-time or seasonal events.
