So… I search for ‘good connection’ being in the country of New Zealand, and I come across two people from Mexico, and an American. All red bar connection, yay for lag jolts. Fix your -Yoinking!- -Yoink-.

Yeah that’s what I search on 90% of the time but it doesn’t really help …
I think HALO should add a Regional Filter as a search option …

I got you beat.
I’m from Perth, Western Australia and when I was searching in the Anniversary Classic playlist with prefer good connection I got matched with Germans that were 13565 kilometers away and pulled host putting my party of four orange to redbar.
Backed out after the game, started searching and found them again so I switched playlists lest myself and three other Aussies I was partied with have to play on an orange to redbar host again.
The lag reminded me of Halo 2 bridgers + standbyers in that hit registry was so delayed it was comical at times because an inanimate gun on the ground would fire shots long after the wielder had died.
