Umm don’t think this is so much the swords fault but the person behind it…
Ive had no problems with the sword it seems to lunge exactly when it should. Are you sure your little aimy thingy is red when you try to lunge? If your too far away it doesn’t work.

They make pills for that now, just have a quiet word with your physician.

Are you able to post a clip of this? I’d like to see this. And zooming in with the sword does wonders. Doing a “quick scope” with the sword is very effective (if ur not doing that already).
Keep the cursor steady and on point when you swing.
Another tip is to “scope in” with the sword to lunge farther.
Or, maybe there is a problem with your controller.

I agree. I too have this problem, even with just basic melee. It’s not user error. Not always at least.

OP, it has to be latency, the sword works fine even on my net. Try making a custom game with a friend and practice with the sword.
The energy of the Energy Sword is fine. I know nothing of this lung you speak of.
There’s been the odd time that I’ve missed a lunge with the sword due to differences in elevation (plus a ledge) between my and my enemy, but overall, the sword is an excellent weapon. It’s well balanced as is.

If your zoomed in it doesn’t even need to be red to lunge
