Grinding into the next level is hard enough. I dont need 343’s crappy matchmaking puttin me in a 2v4 slayer match right as Im about to break platinum. Its pretty easy to just put people waiting in the matchmaking lobby in a game that has less than a full team. Fix it. Its a pain and we all hate it.
The game should not be putting you into a 2v4 match since there is no JIP in ranked modes. The only way that happens is if people quit when the game starts which the matchmaking system has NO way of predicting.You cant predict when someone is going to randomly quit build mid load screen or at the beginning of the match, blame the players not the system.
You are basically asking for a JIP system in a ranked playlist which would anger even more people. Joing a game with 30 sec left and losing then deranking would piss alot of people off.
No they should be replacing those players with people in the matchmaking lobby. Reread what I wrote^^^
Same thing happened to me as i was about to break diamond. I hate quitters. I was lucky enough to go on a pretty awesome run of something like 10 wins in a row with randoms to finally crack diamond. Hopefully you’ll get a good run like that. Quitters suck man.
Look at this game it was a ranked game yet it started in a 3v4 since the game likes me so much i was on the 3 man team. It does not show anyone quit or anything yet the game was a 3v4?

I can report that many of my DC’s (EU player) is right when, or before the game starts. So might just be some of the gamers that dont exist to 343.
the more people trash talk amateur players the more they quit. Some players are not here to be try-hards but are constantly being criticized by others for lack of skills; when this happens it leaves you with a 2 vs 4 team.
I played breakout some long time ago, and i’m not the best player in the world; some rude kid with a screachy voice said to me over the mic “you suck bad” “you should just quit playing halo” “you need to get gud!”.
you know what? at some point people will get sick and tired of hearing these type comments. so people should not be mad when they only get dealt a half team to play with.

Seriously? Ruin there K/D, I never would of thought people were this douchey.
I know this has been said time and time again, but have you ever considered playing in a fireteam? It’s so easy to find 3 people to play arena with? I understand some people just want to lone wolf it, but arena (except for ffa) is for team play. Randoms will always cause these headaches.

Fortunately I’ve finally started to find groups I can play with. Itsbhard when you’ve only been playing for a few weeks.
