Why Has warzone become so bad. Everyone just flies around in wassps now because they are cheap. Its OP when you have 8 of them on enemy team. Annoying like a wassp I guess.
Warzone teams are never balanced in my experience either we demolish them or they demolish us its no fun.
home base camping. Im always on the losing team 90% of the time im starting to hate warzone and halo in general now. enemy just capture all 3 bases and sit waiting at our home base doors sick of this crap.
need spawn protection sick of being killed 1second after respawn.
vehicle cap to many vehicles all the time.
DOES ANY OF THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE OR JUST ME.?
Yes, it’s a problem but one almost everyone has to deal with. For me H5 has been very frustrating. I’ve played all the Halo games, completed legendary on all the campaigns and been in all the playlist each Halo had to offer.
Here’s the kicker, it hasn’t been the same for me in H5. The maps don’t interest me (circular), neither do the playlists and I have only finished campaign on normal. It’s very disappointing to me because I love the Halo universe. As a SR149 I don’t want to say H5 is a bad game but for the 1st time I will leave a Halo game unfinished.

I can’t disagree with anything you said. But in defense of Warzone I have to say that I would be surprised if the single most ambitious adventure in Halo multiplayer (by a huge margin) didn’t have problems, especially in the way of balance. Warzone is trying to balance more players (and their respective skill levels) than any other Halo game type ever has; it’s trying to balance more weapon variants than ever before (again, way more); it’s trying to balance vehicular game play on a scale heretofore unheard of. It makes Heavies look like matchbox cars in Andy’s room.
This is the dark underbelly of the req system. They tried to balance what you get with what you use, but in the end everyone ends up with a hoard and the average match suffers for it. They also try to limit the way reqs are doled out in the game, but they do it ineffectively to my way of thinking. And apparently to yours as well.
My personal solution would be a req-free warzone variant where there are no power weapons or vehicles but loadout weapons continue to unlock progressively. Unfortunately that kind of game variant won’t sell req packs. The obvious alternative is to bring back turbo. Req sales would probably go up and the req-crazed players would gravitate there and leave vanilla warzone to the rank and file players like us. A guy can dream.

yeah that makes sense. If they could do some of that. warzone assault isn’t to bad its just the normal big warzone.
its like battlefield in a small arena hopped up on steroids with all that fire power, in my eyes anyway. LOL.
The whole Wasp complaint is stupid, grab a laser and put em’ down. Get good. As for the other reasons, they’re debatable. Only one I can agree with is the spawnkilling but they can’t really fix that. My advice, play with a team. Simple.

yes wasps can be taken down but when theres 8 of them if you read. which is why I suggested a vehicle cap.

Definitely one of the biggest struggles of warzone.
When I run into “Team WASPs” or “Team Ghost Ultras”, I just abandon ship. My time’s more valuable than that garbage.

Perhaps a vehicle cap would be a good addition…in terms of REQing a particular type of vehicle…
If you have an issue with warzone could I ask that you make a comment on the “regular warzone 6-man limit??? Nope. No thanks.” Thread?
Not trying to distract from the point but we’re trying to funnel as many opinions on warzone as possible as 343 is monitoring our thread for feedback and it seems your having an issue that I’d like to question in better detail in that thread…thank you
Let’s together make warzone great for EVERYONE, TEAMS AND SOLOS ALIKE!
Just respect everyone’s opinion on how they like to play warzone and keep it constructive so we can help resolve these issues together as a community… #MAKEWARZONEGREATAGAIN
Bring back large teams in warzone by either repairing the match making so solo players are not matched against full 12 man fireteams or seperate the playlist like arena in order to suit the competitive and casual players experience…

Understand what your saying about using the correct counter weapons against vehicles…it’s hard to “Get good” when the most experienced players speak to players with a condescending attitude…everyone here wants to be good at halo that’s not a real debate and people come to waypoint for help…you missed your chance with this person, and you must also respect some of these people don’t like to play as a team or against one…I myself had 2 full teams in warzone that didn’t farm, but I would ask that you treat these people with respect for how they play the game, offer help when needed and promote team play or constructive solutions for the casual and competitive alike…
Arguing competitive vs casual isn’t ever going to get you anywhere…each side feels their way is best so it pointless to argue…what you can do is acknowledge the way they like to play the game and ask for the same respect back and rally support…
This update brought a lot of good to the solo player in warzone at the expense of removing 12 man teams…I feel because the matchmaking failed…
For over a year these solo players were abused by poor matching that brought full 12 man teams against solo lobbys and the sad part is some bad teams really took advantage of farming these people which was dishonorable…quick coring wasn’t fun for anyone but my team would just end the game as quickly as possible in an attempt to match against another full team…
We need really solutions, the fireteam limit was a bandaid on the bigger underlying problem of inadequate matching…that’s 343’s Job to fix.
I understand your frustration because 343 ignored the problem and then rather than fixing the issue they blamed the teams instead of themselves …we need to come together and realize this…
If you think matching works get 2 6man fireteams and search at the same time under focused and see if I’m wrong that either
1 your team will match against your other 6 man team
2 you’ll match on the same team together…
This is a huge problem and highlights the fact that matchmaking literally brings in the first available 12 players based on what time they decided to search for a game…it’s how these teams matched against full lobbys of other teams and also how full lobbys of solos were brought against full 12 man teams…
Let together work on a fix so EVERYONE IS HAPPY, we don’t do that by defending that our way of playing is superior to others…all different types in this world let’s make Halo enjoyable for everyone and find REAL solutions that don’t involve banishing one community for the sake of anothers enjoyment…open your minds people and let’s not fight each other…

it feels like I get penalized for playing solo. Its not my fault all my friends stopped playing halo because they hate it. I still enjoy it but the way things are I might bin it and move on. Community rarely help or offer solutions. Along with all the hate doesn’t make me feel welcome after 13 years of me enjoying halo too. Very sad.
There seems to be so much complaining about Warzone, and how it’s broken, but I’m just sitting here thinking, “Just go play ranked or social slayer.” Seriously. You don’t HAVE to deal with any of the Warzone crap if it’s -Yoink!- you off. Jump into a big team battle match. Don’t play the mode that’s irritating you. Pretty simple.

BTB isn’t any better. It’s always been riddled with full parties and uneven matching (after ranks were removed) and I’m sure it’s worse now since a lot of the WZ full party regulars have moved to BTB after the 6 person fireteam limit was implemented in WZ.
If he likes WZ, he shouldn’t be forced to play something else because of problems that can be fixed. It is a temporary solution, but we shouldn’t have to play other playlists because 343 won’t fix anything or instead implement band aid solutions to open wounds.
For the OP, there is a vehicle cap although it’s rare to encounter it.

At this stage in the game, it’s going to be difficult to “fix”. Love it or hate it, the req system rewards players who have more, higher level reqs, and those that actually purchase gold packs like they’re goin’ outta style. I generally play solo, and believe me, more often than not I seem to always be on the losing team. I’m no where near being an amazing Halo player, never have been, but I’ve found that playing ranked slayer brings a way more balanced game to the table, even for some one like me.
I played Warzone for the first few months (until my Gold account expired). I liked that I could use my scoped AR with kinetic bolts by the time we took our first base, and hold my own against all of the other requisitions people were calling in over the course of the game. I even took down my fair share of Phaetons with it. I can’t speak to what gameplay is like now, especially since the Month of Mythic.
PS: on Waypoint my stats all dropped to zero. Is there any way to get them back? If I get another Gold subscription, would I still have all of my REQ points, or did they disappear in the glitch that set my Waypoint stats to zero?

Everything you said is a matter of opinion. If people don’t like being farmed in Warzone then they should play with a team, if they don’t like playing with a team then they need to understand that they’re going to get farmed. It happens in every game that has multiplayer. Get over it. Treat them with respect? Don’t put down different play styles? There are a million things wrong with all those statements. I am not putting down any type of play style. If you hate wasps, use your points and buy a laser. If you hate farming teams, play with a team. People come here for guidance, I gave them guidance. Whether I said it too blunt, disrespectfully, etc. Is your opinion. Regardless, I guided them by giving common solutions. You took my use of language too literal. The “Get good” is a joke, yanno humor? Yeah. Unlike you, I’d rather not write a book worth of all the things wrong with my opinion of using a spartan laser lol. And you must be illiterate because I never mentioned nor argued competitive vs casual. I’m still having trouble thinking of the point of your book sized rant you got up there. Good day kind sir.
