I haven’t had this happen to me.
If you are speaking of the boss count not being accurate to the amount bosses taken down sometimes then you are mistaken, this has no effect on whether the match is a loss or not, once the final boss is taken down the match/round ends regardless of what the count says, the count will be inaccurate if the bosses are killed extremely quickly.

Well then we I took down the final boss it clearly says lost

Could be this. FF does have problems, but the boss/targets killed counter isn’t one of them, to my knowledge.

Bookmark the film so others can watch, that way the glitch is recorded.
I think what you and your teammates are doing is killing the boss just after you run out of time. Once the five minutes to complete the objectives is over, there’s a period of about five seconds before the “Defeat” or “Victory” screens display.

Probably this… I am betting you ran out of time and then killed the boss. Has happened to me a couple of times
