Ghost melees and the aiming system are a problem. I can’t believe I even have to bring it up, but this is honestly a joke. The aiming system is trash, and no, it’s not the aim assist, it’s the aiming. We’ve known about this since launch, and it’s suspected it’s tied to ranks or the server connection. If you don’t play WZ 90% of the time (which has good server connection), and you play other games and arena, this is very apparent. Ghost melees have been happening for the past 3 months. The AR glitch needs to be fixed.
Another issue I’ve had since the file browser launched. I can’t get to the other pages of my bookmarks. I have only been able to see 12, and skipping pages does nothing.
These shouldn’t be a problem, it feels like 343i forgot about this game in terms of updates and feedback for issues.
It honestly sometimes feels like the game is programmed to make you suck after you’ve gone on a win-streak…
Gotta dial things back to a 50% win/loss, even if it means artificially doing so! It doesn’t even feel like you’re playing the same game sometimes, one match to the next… the aiming feels so different. Plus, the unfair spawns. It feels like the game selects someone to “pick on” because there’s always someone going like 3-12 in MM… and when it’s you, you feel helpless.
I swear something is just off about this game sometimes. I played for a little while earlier and it’s like I was struggling to get a kill the whole time!

It’s very noticeable when you jump between shooters. Switching between BL The Pre Sequel, CE, H2, Destiny, and then Halo 5, you really notice the difference. It’s as if my sens changes every match on H5.

Like if you win to many games in the row.
You can get “intentionally” placed Against higher players. (BUT with like skill)
This game aim does feel off. I don’t know why but the aiming in Halo 2, 3, ODST, and Reach felt right.
yeah… aiming system is broken
As for why 343’s “pro team” needed to change the aiming system after no negative feedback on the aim from the beta is baffling.

I think that 343 have a giant rug just waiting for Halo 5. Once it’s finished being a cash cow for them, when people stop buying REQs, they’ll sweep it under this rug and release Halo 6. Halo 5 will then stay under the rug and be kept company by Halo MCC, which was swept under there over a year ago. Halo MCC is now a dirty word that we’re not supposed to say, and Halo 5 will follow suit.
Why do I say this? Well, for Halo 5 we had the 255 page “Dedicated Servers EU” thread go largely ignored. I think 343 replied once or twice, but they never gave us what we asked for, so to this day the servers are still absolute crap. And there’s numerous other things that have been requested hundreds of times on this forum, way too many to go into, and they’ve also been completely ignored.
And as for MCC… it never got fixed properly, it was never “Halo as we remember it”, and support for it was instantly dropped the moment Halo 5 came out. There have been no content updates for MCC in over a year, and it only had 6 remastered maps from what I remember.
So don’t get your hopes up for Halo 5. I doubt it’ll ever work right.

Two chances is enough for me. If I buy Halo 6, it’ll be second hand. 343 will never get any money from me again.

I don’t even think I’m going to buy Halo 6 tbh, everything 343i chooses to do in terms of handling Halo is just too far out, never mind their servers and lack of communication, and how they ignore HUGE issues.
