Please now, seriously. 10 months after release, theater is now worse than it was at launch. Rewinding sends you back too far, fast forward DOES NOT work, at all, all it does is speed up your animation while the match runs at the same speed, so all the animations look ridiculous and bug out.
This NEEDS to be addressed immediately. I’m having a seriously hard time considering Halo 5 as a finished product, when half the features barely work. As a machinima director, these theater problems are extremely irritating. There really isn’t an excuse for this.
Not to mention the fact that footage played back in theater doesn’t even work properly. Sometimes animations glitch and other times objects, vehicles, characters just don’t appear at all!
Like you said, rewinding throws you back way too far in comparison to earlier games, and fast forwarding doesn’t even work properly at all.
While I understand that Theater is not necessarily the most important and standout feature in Halo 5, It’s still a feature. And at least SOME amount of effort should be made to make sure it works properly.
People need to understand that the reason we complain is because there is something WRONG.
Not sure how seriously 343 is taking the situation, but BBK has said they are working on fixing the glitches in theater, possibly within this next update.

Seriously? Still? This is pretty stupid how something like theater mode takes a back seat to freaking req packs, at least to 343.

Yeah it’s pretty ridiculous. It’s an issue that seriously needs addressing.

Ah right, i’ll hold my breath then unless he has a viable source.
Not to mention the bugs with the highlighted player’s name being different to the actual player that you have selected!
