Make the vehicles fun again, they’re not very fun in this halo and that sucks because Halo was known for fun vehicles.
What do you mean exactly? Old vehicles that didn’t carryover into the Halo 5? Req vehicles in multiplayer for example ONI Warthog and the only weapon to counter it being a standard rocket launcher? (A standard rocket launcher has no hope against an ONI warthog.)
I mean that’s a matter of opinion I don’t see a problem with them?
Yeah, there needs to be a little more clarification on this one. What about the vehicles in this Halo that makes them not fun? I haven’t had a problem with them.
The non req vehicles need a slight buff IMO. It seems some one with a BR can out gun some one on the warthog turret. They should lower the ttk slightly on it and maybe even the mantis gun. The warthog in previous titles could kill faster IMO.
Vehicle gameplay has been crippled since Reach. The chip damage system turns vehicle combat into battles of attrition rather than driving skill, especially when combined with precision weapons and snipers doing absurd amounts of damage to vehicles.
It forces vehicles to play passively in order to get the most out of them as more aggressive play turns your vehicle into a death trap incredibly quickly if anyone on the opposing team decides to pick at your with unavoidable hitscan weapons from all corners of the map.
Halo 3 is still the series peak when it comes to vehicles. The higher tier warzone vehicles simply delay the inevitable and don’t fix any of the problems that have been present for 3 games now. One could argue that the vehicles were a little overbearing in Halo 3 in certain places, but there are so many more anti vehicle options between the softer counters(boarding/plasma pistol/grenades), mid tier weapons(Railgun, plasma caster, turrets, hammer), and heavy explosives(rockets/fuel rod/iCannon/Laser) that chip damage and high damage precision weapons and snipers simply are not necessary to keep them in check.

I agree, vehicles could stand to be made a lot more useful. This is especially true in Halo 5’s BTB, where most of the maps don’t even have any vehicles outside of a Ghost and a Warthog. It’s hard not to get the impression that they’ve gone quite a bit too far in their attempts to tone down the usefulness of vehicles.
The only vehicle that I have any problem with is the tanks steering. I gets a little wonky when trying to turn around in close quarters.
i think the banshees and ghosts are still pretty fun
The Warthog gunner is probably the only thing that needs a little more protection. Other than that, I think the Mantis chaingun needs a slight buff with DPS and the Banshee flip cooldown could be reduced by a second. The Scorpion’s steering sucks like mentioned in a previous post, but I don’t think that’s something that will be fixed in this game.
