okay the can’t see rank system is lame as -Yoink- and 343 should be ashamed for trolling us by acting like we are getting ranks but then making us look them up…like seriously wtf is that all about. Go back to exactly what Halo 3’s matchmaking system was except keep it where we can vote for maps rather than veto.
Aside from this huge issue that could easily be fixed if 343 wasn’t so dumb, another issue exists with the current ranking system that 343 is also dumb for allowing to exist. I join a ffa where I’m down 90 then I rank down when I don’t miraculously come back. There doesn’t need to be join in progress in ffa for any reason. In team games, maybe. BUT PEOPLE DEFINITELY SHOULDN’T RANK DOWN WHEN THEY JOIN A GAME ALREADY LOSING.
-343 USE YOUR BRAIN AND FIX THE RANKING SYSTEM.

It shouldn’t have to be discussed at all.
Blame Bungie, they made the Reach engine (which 343 had to use) without CSR, 343 wasn’t going to add it but fans wanted it so you got it in some shape or form, now accept it and be quiet

Hmm, I recall seeing somewhere else about people thinking with their egos, rather then with their brains, this confirms it.

Why would I blame bungie? Bungie isn’t in control anymore. 343 is. 343 had to use the system? They created Halo 4 independently of Bungie. They could have made it however they wanted. I like the game a lot. I just don’t like anything about the new ranking system. Put ranks in game and stop ranking people down when they join a game already losing or either stop allowing people to join while losing. 343 can control these issues and you are ignorant to think otherwise.
Hey OP, sorry to hear your troubles.
If you joined a game in progress and your rank went down, I like for remind you that CSR works one game behind. So it’s not the game you joined and lost where you ranked down, it was the game before it.
Kudos for you playing rumble pit. I tried that today and I got steamrolled.

I joined like 7 games in a row where I was losing but got more points than anyone, so I would have gotten first if I had begun the game with everyone else. I’m not upset about losing these games, I’m upset because I feel my rank definitely shouldn’t have gone down.

Back to OP I realize my post was unhelpful but honestly you really could tell. Its a shame that the ranking system doesn’t work right but imo it is more because 343 tried to put social and ranked together in some weird hybrid. It just doesn’t work. no one is in their ideal environment, a lot didn’t have fun because of it, and many left halo 4 because of it. It really sucks

what useful can I say? I’m here to talk about the ranking system. The more people that talk about it, the higher of a chance 343 will fix their mistake. There’s no educated debate to make because it’s so obvious that it shouldn’t require a debate. 343 needs to fix this, as they’ve been told countless times. Idk how to make it happen but I’m not going to just stand by and watch the game I love be only a fraction of what it could be without at least saying something about it.
