Fix the glitches (discussion)

It’s just a proposition. Maybe the community doesn’t want any of the glitches fixed. Maybe one or two particularly annoying glitches. I acknowledge that some of the glitches are responsible for game-balance (or lack thereof). If I had to chose only one glitch I would really push for fixing is the supply glitch. It is a mathematical error in the game code. It serves as a disadvantage to players who did nothing wrong. It could be argued that executing glitches with the Arbiter is a skill just like button combos in H1/H2. The supply glitch however is not a skill, it’s a digital accident.

What exactly is this supply glitch, and what Arbiter glitches are you referring to? I’d like to become more knowledgeable in these glitches, whether they help me or not.

The “supply glitch” is when a scrub decides to recycle a Supply pad/Where house and ends up losing the economic war due to missing out on a couple of supply’s that could’ve help him or her on the long run of the game. And the Arbiter glitch is when you X button him to move & then Y button the any other direction. The benefits are moving, attack faster & dodge some Y abilities, he can’t attack air units but which also means he can’t get cheese out by being taken off the map by a air unit and falling & dying with the air unit. Hope this helps you understand what that guy said.

So the supply glitch is basically not getting a full refund for buildings you recycle?

It’s not about a refund, but rather if you recycle a pad without building or upgrading another one, you won’t be making as much as you should even when factoring in the supply lost by that pad not being in existence anymore.

That seems less like a glitch and more like a mistake made by the player.

If you recycle a unupgraded supply pad all you have to do to fix it is upgrade another supply pad to a heavy.
