Fix Temple's Spawns

The core defense section of Temple has absolutely atrocious spawns for defense. I just had match where I spawned 3 times into being shot by several wasps, I do not understand how something this blatantly​ terrible could slip past QA, honestly. Did no one think that repeatedly spawning into enemy fire would ruin the experience ? Or is this just a spawning bug ? Either way I cannot be alone in my thinking that this is BS and needs to be put on the docket for the next bug fixes patch. Thanks for reading

Most of the time it’s poor luck. Like a wasp is about to fly near you but there’s no way for the game to tell so it thinks you’re safe and spawns you.

I can understand that but it seems like it’d just be easier to spawn me in the base like any other map

It’s not just bad luck it’s broken I’ve been aiming with a sniper and guys have literally spawned into my sights over and over again it’s such a crap glitch and should have been fixed months ago

This issue was noticed on the day it came out.

And sadly it hasn’t been addressed yet.

One time I spawned directly into a Scorpion’s shell :slight_smile:

I don’t think he’s talking about specific instances of bad spawns (which will happen in any game) but rather the systemic issue of the spawn points themselves being poorly thought out given the design of the map.

My main gripe is that too often the defensive team spawns out in the open ripe for the picking. And that is bs

I think 3 times is my limit. I can’t think of a 4th time it’s happened. Usually we have lost by then anyways. Maybe that’s the point.

Yeah maybe it’s all part of some meta, like you didn’t hold the previous base so here’s your punishment xD

Lots of things with this map are broken. The core defense spawns clearly don’t work right. If you are attacking you can go into the temple on round one and kill all the marines, so you can capture half of it before the defenders can even get there. And the defending team starts between the armory and the temple facing the wrong direction. I’m not sure why none of this has never been fixed???

I didn’t know about the attackers being able to kill Marines in the Temple before the objective actually opens up… that’s garbage. The fact that you spawn looking the wrong way slipped my mind

It seems the yesterday’s “hot fix” pulled temple from map rotation.

Hopefully.
Or at least I didn’t see it several games in a row.

I hope so, temple has potential to be a really fun map.

Just a quick update, Temple is still in the rotation and still broken :frowning:
