I’m so tired of the terrible searches and games I get in big team. The teams are SO UNEVEN. Tell me if it makes sense to put a whole team of 150~ level people against a bunch of level 70s or lower, with maybe 2 130~; Yeah, my team gets mowed down, and it’s beyond frustrating. I almost broke my controller because I am so sick of it and I get a terrible score. And my BPM shoots up to 115. Not good. I’m sorry but that needs to be fixed because it’s making me not want to play halo anymore.
Oh yeah and we could bring back heavies that would be nice instead of just big team.

Seeing how you have completed about 25 btb games and you have positive around 1.0 KDR in almost every other playlist, the game is probably matching you against similar skilled players. That and/or you are not used to btb yet. It takes time to learn how matches play out in different game modes. It took me a while to get used to btb. Most battles in btb happen in the middle of the map. It is also important to stay near teammates. Try to hold down a power weapon spawn with a small group.
The game uses a hidden skill ranking system that puts players that will do well together. The Spartan Rank system has nothing to do with skill.
Heavies probably won’t work well with Halo 5. Everything is mostly balanced.
If you search on focused, the game won’t try and match you against full parties right away. From your description, that’s what seems to have happened.

I do, I always have it set to that search setting.
