Yea it really sux when your red team its really had to see blue.
Yup. Really crappy lighting on the map. runNOKYARDrun has tried to fix it, not sure if he has other things up his sleeve though.

Great, I’m glad it’s not just me.
I’m sure he’ll sort it. It’s the only Grifball map I’m having problems with at the moment, the rest are fine.

The ‘lights’ do not actually generate light. They neither brighten nor darken the player, but provide a background for contrast. Without the bands of light players standing still are virtually invisible. With them you can at least see a silhouette and use the waypoint to determine if friend or foe.
The next version will be slightly better, but it will never be perfect in that space unless the lightmap is altered,
This is 343i’s fault. They insisted on that space being used. Despite the fact that the lighting is way too dark around the edges, making players almost invisible - which anyone with a modicum of experience would tell you within 30 seconds on the map.
Nokyard did his best, but there is only so much you can do as a Forger.
