Fix Rumble Pit Join in progress

It isn’t fair that I join into a game with 11 or 12 kills already, How am I going to rank up fairly?
Also consider a good connection search? Because I get put into a game with terrible host and it frustrates me that I have to quit, I don’t mind waiting the extra time for a good locale area connection. Both of these problems make it harder to rank up in the new ranks you have released.

Why is there JIP in an FFA game in the first place ???

Quitting will hurt your rank FAR more than losing some Join in Progress games.

Quitting will place you as VERY LAST and will adjust your CSR accordingly.

On your first point. I agree; ranked free-for-all probably doesn’t need join-in-progress.

I don’t think any of the lists should have JIP. In infinity slayer it seems like every other game is half way finished when I join. Alot of the time I’m also on the losing team where the scores like 450-80.

This is searching solo.

I do think ranked / social lists would help this but I don’t see them doing that anytime soon sadly :frowning:

Thats only going to be the case if you keep dropping out of lobbies. If you stay in your lobby 1 JIP is all you’re likely to get during a session.

If you remove JIP then you just have the reverse problem. “How am I meant to rank up when half my team quits?”. But with that problem it’s one that can occur every game, not just during your first game of a lobby.
