I’m sorry but 343 needs to fix boosting. I have played at least 20 ranked games and someone on the other team has the absolute worst player with Onyx, Diamonds and my team in low platinum and low Diamond… how is that fair?? These low platinum players can’t compete with high Diamond and Onyx… how is this okay?
This is difficult to handle because Halo is about playing with friends. And some people just enjoy ranked. Even if they aren’t good.
I have friends who are bronze and sliver. The lobbies for me (an onyx player) are extremely easy. But I gain zero rank for it. Which to me is fine because I want to just play with my friends.

It’s pretty simple match the same groups… plus onyx players are getting the benefits because they always do good do they will always rank up if they win…
It’s becoming more and more common.
And in my placement games mid-S1 I actually hit the same boosting team FIVE times.
2x Onxy players (grinding CSR), 1x Gold (clearly a smurf), 1x Silver (genuine).
I think they like to have a genuine silver player as it not only sandbags the opposition team but it also leaves more kills for the Onyx players to feast upon.
They have to introduce a limit on rank range. If you want to play with friends there is Social or BTB.
Wrong. I literally had a day where I won 12 games in a row with my friends and didn’t rank up once.
That’s impossible… unless you went negative every single game…
They just released an entire season themed around not having any friends.
So high onyx players playing with Golds and Silvers is okay?
