Fix the Radar now! It’s to small! Also add some playlist without CSR (Social). I also can’t play with my friends around the world… Won’t let you search games with them. They have to join you in game… This stuff has to be fixed. I’ve tried to be positive about this game but this is getting dumb.
I think the radar is perfect as it is, in team slayer at least which is all I’m playing at the moment

Perfect? You have barely any awareness if someone is near you
Radar could be a bit bigger, but I like that your team has to be in total communication.

2 bad nobody uses there mic unless your playing with friends… We also need a social playlist
I think they said it’s especially small in order to get players to move around more, or in other words, to keep them from sitting in one area and “zoning” the map. I like this reasoning, but the radar could be expanded maybe a meter or two.
I like it when people aren’t over-reliant on the motion tracker. These settings are a nice compromise between that and no motion tracker at all, IMO.

What Halo 5 has taught me is that if you are a true fan of Halo and ask for things like Sprint and Spartan Abilities to never be added or be removed, you are told, Halo must Evolve. But if radar is reduced and you are forced to play with skill and have better matches, then THIS IS MADNESS THAT MUST REVERT BACK TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF HALO! Basically, it took radar being changed for everyone to finally realize that when something truly near and dear to your heart changes about your favorite game, its hard to adapt. Yet all those people who want radar changed don’t give a damn about the thousands of people who don’t want sprint and don’t want Spartan abilities. How is it fair that some people are forced to accept change while others aren’t? If you want sprint and abilities in the game then you have to no right to revert radar back to how it used to be. And the irony in all this, is the reason you want a bigger radar is because of overpower abilities like sprint and Spartan charge in the game, the very same things others asked to never put in the game and those people were told “Halo must evolve”.
Indeed, the new radar does suck. I agree on that it needs an increase to its radius.

First off, my main problem with 5 isn’t the SA. Is that they forgot about causal fans like me. I am not good at halo. You can check my record at tha t, but this radar is not fun… I don’t even have a chance because of the fact it’s so small. It’s a Beatdown radar now… I also play with my friends who are competive halo players… But it sucks because there are no playlist without csr… I get destroyed. They get upset because they don’t want to lose… That’s what made halo 3 and reach great. There was a playlist with csr and there wasn’t a playlist with csr… Warzone isn’t enough.

You’re not really countering my argument. And there isn’t a single person who doesn’t want social playlists, similar to how Halo 3 worked so we’re all with you there. I’m fine with warzone and social playlists having radar and increasing the range, but it must stay as is for arena or be removed completely, otherwise, I can’t play the game until a no radar playlist comes out. And I’m trying to get people to understand, at what point does the whole “Halo has to evolve” comment just become stupid. I’m using this opportunity so that when others shoot down changes that really impact their Halo experience they truly listen and emphasize rather than say some stupid phrase that means nothing because radar is proving that there are some things in Halo you just can’t change.

Your argument makes no sense since the best players in the Halo world always played without radar…
I find it interesting that they increase basic movement speed and added clamoring, sprinting, and thrusters, but DECREASED the size of the radar… If someone charges you from the side, you wont hear them (unless you’re blasting your Turtle Beaches and not talking) you wont see them, (Line of sight…) and you wont see them on the radar UNTIL you’re hit by the charge. That seems strange to me. If that’s their focus to keep people from scoping in for more than 2 seconds, fine. I personally don’t see the point. With sprinting as natural as it is, most people camp anyway. Increased Radar would not make them camp more, it would only benefit those who are trying to get the upper hand on them.

Unless there playing custom games theres no way they are playing with no radar in halo 5
It also makes perfect sense because im talking about the ranked playlists in every halo except for team hardcore, mlg, and hcs…every other playlist had radar
I say increase radar distance in FFA only and keep radar where it’s at in Team Arena and other playlists.
I’m fine with it. I just have to rely on it a little less. It still has its uses though.
