Did you just get a massive beatdown? Normally, on other games, I would check the OP’s game history to see if their last game was a beatdown, and 99% of the time it is. Which is why I just don’t check anymore, cuz 99% of the time, these whines are just from people who get beat. A lot.

Nope matchmaking is perfect in this game 10/10 couldn’t be better don’t like it go play something else.
for your info my last game was +9 with 23 kills.the whole game was my team of 3 vs. a team of 4. we still won but we sure could have used an extra teamate. i just need this horrible way of adding people to a game that is over to be fixed. Nobody has an issue with waiting to be matched up in a game. the black screen’s are getting old.

If the game didn’t have issues then every other post on this forum wouldn’t be complaining. I like the game. I just don’t like how the matchmaking works. Adding people to a game that is almost over is sloppy. If i wanted to play Call of Duty. then i would be playing that game. I have been playing halo online since Halo 2. I have supported this franchise ever since. I like this game a lot. i just think small things could be tweaked to improve the game play experience.

I’m sure your irrelevant speedtest from your computer instead of xbox will surely help everyone in their endeavors. May i suggest connecting a wire to your xbox? And pls don’t say that your connection is good.

I think my connection speeds are just fine. what is so bad about those numbers? I had zero issues with my reach connection two days before i got Halo 4. that rules out it being my connection or my xbox having problems. The last variable is Halo 4 being the problem. my issue is the starting a game when it is already in progress.

He’s saying thats its absoulte horsecrap getting into a game of 3v4 that remains that way for the entire match without the possibility of another player joining. The same thing happens the next match, happened to me today and yea its the dumbest thing ever, its like they don’t even try to add another player to your team. Obviously if they’re really bad, the 3v4 is possible but if both teams are about evenly skilled, its impossible to win cause the other team will just attack from every direction causing a free win for them and wasting 10 minutes of your time.

The problem with Matchmaking is the lack of a “Search Good Connection” as was available in previous Halos. I know 343 said that this part of the default search parameters, but the truth is that it doesn’t work properly. It maybe fine for people in the USA, but you are not the only country that has people playing Halo. I live in Australia and 9 times out of 10 I get placed in a US hosted game.
If I could play on Reach with flawless gameplay 7 times out of 10 with this kind of connection (it is a little slow today but is normaly somewhat higher I will admit) then there is in fact something wrong with H4s servers or they need some tuning up of some sort.
2nd to 7th day of playing H4 my average was 15 and 5. Now its 8 and 5-11. Maybe its because more people are playing it every day and the servers are getting put under more work, but somethings gone wrong somewhere and it isnt completely due to my internet. Not to mention when I play on Spartan Ops with friends in neighboring states (and some close to my own neighborhood) and it looks like im watching a slide show vs the occasional hiccups on Reach co-op is also proof that theres something going with the servers. I hate staying at the back of the action on BTB with active camo and AAE but its the only way I can save my KD now. I also hate doing what im doing right now, but as I have stated before. Something should be done to fix this issue as to prevent loyal fans from quiting a good game.
