Seriously 343. Fix this broken -Yoink- system. I shouldn’t be constantly playing against Onyx (let alone Champions) IF I’M NOT ONYX!! How hard is it to match Diamonds against Diamonds?
343 can’t fix the games low population which is why you get that matchup, sorry.
If you’re just going to disregard the ranking system and match any players against each other. Then what’s the point of even having a ranking system? My experience is getting ruined just so high level players can find matches quicker? Even though those matches are completely unbalanced?

Its either this or not finding matches.
That’s fine. Because matching high level players against low level just so those high level players can find a game is only punishing the lower levels. And last time I checked there were far more low level players than high ones.
Just make it so a Champion player can only play against Onyx. How a Champion can get matched against a diamond is beyond me.

That’s still players that aren’t getting matched though.
I’m not arguing, just saying what the alternative is.
There’s only 2 options…
Option 1: Match Champions against low level players so those 200 players can find games quciker. However, this results in extremely unbalanced matches and overall bad experiences for Diamond players.
OR
Option 2: Make it so Champions can only play against Onyx or higher. Resulting in longer wait times for those 200 people, but a overall better experience for the hundreds or thousands of Diamond players.
Currently its option 1, which is really a slap in the face to Diamond players. The quote “The Needs of the Many Outweigh the Needs of the Few” fits perfectly with this scenario.
Eveyone knows champs could not find games so they had to fix it one way or another. And most of those people are Onyx and you are almost onyx so its not that crazy of a game.
Lol I had one 3 diamonds and an onyx against an unranked a plat and 2 golds got absolutely destroyed by them

Yea it doesn’t really seem like that big of a problem.
I feel like it wouldn’t be such a big issue, and would be acceptable, If they made mic’s a requirement, and banned party chat for ranked games (At least for high ranks). Or better yet. Make an actual e-sports playlist where communication is a requirement.
Its one thing to lose a game, but to lose because of lack of communication, especially in such a competitive area is annoying and extremely frustrating.

I think the better solution to that, rather than forcing players to do something, is party up with your own people before hand.
Some people just don’t want to use a mic, and I don’t think they should be forced to.
