Ive read countless posts about alot of NZ people not being able to get matchmaking to come up

ITS BS, i havnt read one comment from 343 about it, FIX IT, DO YOUR DAM JOB

I haven’t read 1 thread or comment about it from the community. This may be the reason it is not being addressed.

Edit: Didn’t realize everyone who has been posting about connectivity was from NZ. My apologies. Although, it seems to be a problem with NZ specifically.

This may be helpful. Sounds like it is an ISP issue and possibly related to the recent anti-piracy act which may have caused it to block whatever server Halo uses.

I’m a kiwi and I haven’t had any issue regarding online matchmaking. Are you sure you have your router set up right?

As for me I had to ‘unclick’ the boxes on my netgear,

go to router setting page.
Go to advanced settings, then WAN setup.
Turn on UPnP.
Turn off ‘Disable Port Scan and DOS Protection’.
Turn off ‘Disable SIP ALG’.

Try it then. :slight_smile:

Then add ‘fr1sky gorilla’ to your friends list lol!!
