Since launch I’ve not been able to unlock a single achievement, absolutely no stats were being recorded. Reading thru everything online desperately trying to find a solution but nothing worked. Lets go over these and finally what issue I had in particular and how I fixed it
- Delete vortex.data.microsoft.com from your hosts file if its present (Windows/System32/drivers/etc). - Whitelist vortex.data.microsoft.com if you are using a Pi-hole device. - Reset Windows Firewall to default settings. - Revert any Windows privacy settings set in programs such as OOSU10 or WPD. - Allowing “Connected User Experiences and Telemetry” in services.mscDoing all these did nothing, however I was unable to find “Connected User Experiences and Telemetry” in services.msc.
Finally i was able to find the reg entry for this service only and add it back to my Win 10. After a restart, it was in my services.msc and loading up MCC i was finally able to unlock achievements. Sucks i have to redo everything but I’m glad I finally am able to unlock achievements. What I found strange is no other WinStore game had any issues with achievements. Forza, Ori, GOW everything else worked fine, if u have any idea why i would love to know. Hope this helps someone
