SWAT is my favorite Arena playlist even tho I spend most of my time in Warzone. I always come back to Arena for SWAT, but time and time again it seems like you get DMR SWAT more than anything and its the same old sohg and dance with it. Little kids camping in a spot waiting to cross map or spawn kill you. Now this doesnt seem to be a problem with the BR or Magnum, I only come across it when DMR SWAT loads up. Now I can adapt and make the sad little campers pay, but those who arent good at the playlist might not have that ability. Now im not saying scrap DMR SWAT all together, I would like it to stay just perhaps replace the regular DMR with a Recon DMR so that its not a mini sniper. If we can have a Recon DMR in Slayer why not SWAT? Now some will cry “its poor maps and poor spawns” but again ive only come across this problem when its the DMR, not the BR or Magnum

Never encountered that problem.
But I think replacing the Normal DMR with an Recon DMR wouldnt solve this problem.

I’ve seen this a few times. Recon would be fine with my but it won’t stop campers imo

I agree it won’t stop it but I think it would a tad harder. Its way more easy to cross map and spawn camp someone with the regular DMR rather than a recon
I like campers in SWAT. They tend to gravitate towards the same spot and that makes them easier for me to kill.
Recon sight wouldn’t help with your perceived problem. It might make it worse as the recon sight is arguably easier to use at close-mid range. The arena maps aren’t that large, and most of the engagements fall into the close-mid range category. The long sight lines would be harder to hit though.

True most times in a mid to close range fight you don’t really aim in with a DMR but on certain maps I think would play better with a recon
