Five years ago, one of your fellow Spartans brought up the idea of Selfie Slayer.
Personally, I think it’s a good idea. I’ve noticed some of you just sit around during the War Games simulations until you’re pulled out, and I have to scold you about it. It’s getting old.
To remedy this, I am proposing the Selfie Slayer Initiative to the eggheads. When you enter the simulation, you are required to pull your smart phone out and take a selfie in the middle of the match showing accomplishments, like kills, killsprees, skill jumps, and the like.
And if you don’t, you’ll get your augmentations removed because I have no use for duty shirkers in my beloved corps. Seems fair, right?
I’d ask what you all think, but I don’t care. Good hunting, and good selfie taking, Spartans. Your career just might depend on it.
if it’s fun then I will support it. having easily accessible file shares in Halo 3 was one of the coolest things in the game because you would always see how ridiculous some of the pictures were in people’s file shares while you were waiting for the game to load. Some of them were actually pictures of spartans and elites taking selfies on the battlefield. However, I don’t think the current Halo community much cares for silly stuff like that even if it’s restricted to social game types.
I would actually be open to the idea of me taking a selfie with my -a e s t h e t i c- armored dino after out BRing a foolish spartan who dared to cross my path. Heck, why not even take it a step further and add Snap-chat filters to the mix? My elite in Halo multiplayer having dog ears or a santa claus hat in a cute selfie photo on a war-torn battlefield would be a dream come true.
I’m open to suggestions like filters. They’re good incentives, and you could unlock new ones via REQ Packs and Commendations.
