So with the inclusion of the Gravity Hammer on the way I started thinking about variants and without a doubt the Fist of Rukt (The hammer that the one brute uses in the boss battle at the end of Halo 2) needs to be a legendary variant. In respect of the brutes and their frenzy fighting style it could automatically give the player a damage boost, increased movement speed, and the distance of the shockwave could be increased to make it competent in warzone where melee weapons usually fall short.
“If you let me live, I’ve got the Fist of Rukt! I’ll be at the bottom! I’ll polish your boots! I’ll polish your helmet! It’s the gas, hehe, when I’m on the gas, I don’t know what I’m doing half the time!”
Final Grunt has it, too bad you don’t.
I like this.

Halo 3’s grunts are AWESOME.
“oh my stars and gardens” or my personal favorite “you killed poonflip, the flippiest poon I ever knew” (in the South Park cartman voice).
If the fist of rukt is included I want a golf club
There has yet to be a weapon with permanent OS, sooo…
Fist of Rukt
- Increased movement - Increased jump - Permanent OS (that chips away due to damage, but recharges like a regular shield) - Huge Splash damage that can ward off Wrath shots and Banshee bombs, etc
That would be awesome! Though let’s face it, it probably won’t happen…
I’d love the Fist of Rukt. I mean, we got the Prophet’s Bane, so the precedent’s already set. It should give you a recharging overshield, and have much larger Splash Damage, so that you can kill with a hit near them, and not actually have to complete a lunge and get a direct hit.
Hopefully with the mythic hammer you can smash the ground and clear the whole map of enemies… Not op

You’d basically be a boss at this point. Legendary’s aren’t supposed to make you impossible to take down.

An overshield only doubles your health. And if its only active while you use a melee weapon, it gives the team plenty of time to take you down while you rush them. It would also only take two people with shotguns to take you down.
Maybe an overshield that only recharges from getting kills that way you dont camp and wait for it to recharge
Yeeah!!!
I remember that the best thing I’ve seen of this weapon, was the kind of attraction that it could do!
That would be definitely cool

Okay, definitely liking the permanent OS idea, but… do not recommend increased movement for this weapon…
You could probably solo an entire base just by Sprinting if the splash damage is as high claimed, and OS is just soaking up their shots.
Increased movement is a no-brainer for the sword because it’s not effective if you can’t reach someone before he/she kills you, but seeing as Rukt is already giving the player immense splash damage, rechargeable OS, AND increased jump height, being able to outrun everyone when your health gets low is a tad overkill. For one weapon, at least…
Fist of Rukt:
- Rechargeable OS
- Increased jump height
- Increased damage and splash radius
- Large EMP on impact, draining nearby players who may have thrusted away.

Im digging the emp idea, that way you could stun vehicles that try to get away from you. I can see that being amazing
The permanent OS sounded insane to me at first, but the more I think about how quickly it wears down in Warzone, the more I like this idea.
Being able to deflect Wraith shots with a hammer would be epic. O_O; I would die instantly, trying to do this, but to see it done…
I think itd be awesome if it had the ability to pull spartans and vehicles in. We see that it is strongly magnetic when it pulls in the monitor so I think itd be incredibly cool to have a melee weapon that pulls its victims towards the user
