Anyone use this? How you finding it?

more on the topic. I dont see anything wrong with the defauly control layout honestly, i use it in almost every game, unless the default is absolutely atrocious or in a fighting game. although i admit it would make the transition between cod and halo more smooth to switch over.
I like fishstick in gametypes that involve sniping, otherwhise I just use default.
I’m not a CoD player though.

Had a play with this for an hour.
Takes some getting used to - like the fact as soon as I release the LT i’m out of scope so makes snap shooting real quick.
Melee button being the right thumb stick takes some getting used to - potentially faster since the thumb is normally there anyway but this is the hardest thing for me to relearn.
It would be good, except I don’t like how crouch, jump and melee are positioned. Crouch in particular.

I’ve recently made the switch to make sniping easier for me. Clicking the stick in to zoom feels weird to me now and I often click it on accident when things get stressful (which has dire consequences).
I use Fishstick now, and it seems the most intuitive button layout for me. Maybe I played Skyrim so much that the button layout seemed to make a lot more sense and transfer into H4 more easily. Regardless, I hope that it is here to stay. That being said, not every button placement on “Fishtick” is ideal, and I think that it’s certainly time for Halo to offer a custom button layout option. I know that it slows things down a bit during game set-up with a friend, but if you play a different layout anyways, you tend to get pretty quick about changing your preferences.

Yeah i’m terrible for mashing the thumbstick buttons when i’m in a cqc panic, normally ends up with me crouched on the floor with the scope welded to my eye - curled up in a scared looking little ball and an easy kill.
Fishsticked means I just sprint and melee at the same time instead lol, bit more agressive.
