Explain these controls in detail, please. The other buttons, I mean. If “grenade” and “jump” aren’t an easily accessible buttons, I’ll be pretending this scheme doesn’t exist.

I won’t be using this layout, but I’m guessing it’ll be hold, would feel weird to use LT as a toggle.

not in halo it wouldn’t, seeing as you zoom in instantly and aren’t looking down the scope. It feels alright in most games because you actually hold it to aim down sights, improving accuracy and impairing movement. In halo you just use a linked scope on your VISR, Never once moving the gun from the hip. Your movment stays the same, your accuracy stays the same; all you get in increased range. On top of that, you get zoomed out when shot in halo, so it wouldn’t make sense for it to be held. If it was, you would just have to hold it down and you wouldn’t unzoom.
Has to be toggle, otherwise the Sniper is useless.

Hmm. I’ll try it. One of my main weaknesses for Halo is pressing the right-stick down too hard when zooming in to snipe/headshot DMR someone on SWAT, and it moves up/down/left/right an inch or so. Frustrating. But I love my Bumper Jumper; not having to take my thumb of the stick to jump is tough to give up.

The OP is talking about the Fishstick controller layout. It is the exact replica of the CoD controls. Zoom is LT.
It’s called fishsticks because Cod is a type of Fish, and COD is also the abbreviation of Call of Duty. Or At least, that’s my assumption.
I’m sure you will be able to set it up as “Toggle Zoom” or “Hold to Zoom”

I really hope it’s “hold” so that all those CoD fans will be owned by me and my Bumper Jumper even easier.
Well, you could hold the stick in on previous games and it would zoom back once you release, so if you hold LT it should be like that.
