in Call of duty, one of the most widly known shooters of all time, when you hold the left trigger it looks down sights. i think that the “fishstick” is a reference to Call of duty, not only because of the same purpose of the left ttrigger, but also:
> Oh, that’s why they called it fishstick. I bet 343 Industries will still lie about it not being like CoD.
It’s named in reference to Call of Duty, and the bulletin specifically mentions that it exists to “make the game more accessible to players of other shooters”. Not sure if trolling or…

I’m not trolling, I’m just pointing out a pattern. Ever since the public have gotten a look at Halo 4, virtually every new feature 343i added to Halo 4 has been something from CoD. But when the fanbase was complaining about it, 343 denied that it was like CoD even though the features obviously were inspired from the CoD series. Don’t give the definition of something and say it’s not it. Besides I’m pretty sure I remember hearing someone from 343I saying they were using CoD multiplayer as inspiration for refreshing the Halo series back an interview in 2011. I’m going to do some searching to find out if this memory is accurate. BRB.

Even though that was like a year ago, I certainly remeber that.
I am going to put on my flame suit and say that, after carefully reviewing each button layout, I think I am going to go with Fishsticks for Halo 4. I am not saying this because I think COD is better than Halo, but because COD’s button layout actually works.
Halo’s layout used to work. But as of now I do not see a layout that resembles that of past Halo games while still remaining functional.
Your point? I remember this quote from long ago and thought nothing of it, but the truth. Cod does do things good that we can do better. Like customization, theater mode and ect. Nothing wrong with borrowing ideas from other games.

I play Halo for Halo, not sci-fi CoD. Besides, perks(armor mods), killstreaks(ordinance drops), Spartan point(CoD point) ranking system, and weapon haves and have nots weapon classes do not make the game better. It takes skill and balance right out of the picture.
You’d have to be an idiot to think halo would ever turn into cod. It can share a lot of similarities, sure. It can feel like a different game than what halo originally was, sure. But it would take a complete overhaul to make halo actually feel like a call of duty game. I don’t know how anyone who has played both games could think one has become the other.

Okay keep telling yourself that. I thought that showing that Frankie himself admitted that Halo is turning into CoD would make you fanboys accept the truth. But now I realize I was beating a dead horse. Your level of denial means you’re either a bigot or a troll. I’m not even going to bother convincing you anymore. Good day.
