I mean seriously first strike ALWAYS being a top medal was a bad idea 2 years ago, and the fact that it hasn’t changed still is just stupid. A first strike is not impressive, noteworthy, and nobody really cares. I’m not going “wow that guy got 20 kills in a row, but HOLY -Yoink- that guy got the first kill that’s amazing!”.
best part is, perfections and exterms are NEVER on top medals haha, how does that make sense
The FS is more of a black eye to the other team. I like to see the person with the most most medals in the first spot.
Then show who got FS in a separate thing, but it should be the top three medals, not the top 2.
That is something that has always bugged me. One guy gets an exterm, perfection, and unfriggan, but the guy who got the FS gets top medal… thats just weird…
First Strike never should’ve been a medal at all, let alone a Top Medal.
The medal ‘scoring’ system has been broken since release. I’m just surprised you’ve bothered to complain about it now. Even so, I thought that someone working on Halo would’ve thought to fix it, although I guess it’s not exactly the top priority.

I complained about it day 1 actually, and I’ve complained about it before, but nothing has ever been done about it. I’m just hoping it gets fixed for Halo 4.

Fair enough. I just don’t really see how it is relevant/what it will achieve now. Either way, I agree that it can be annoying and if there is a similar ‘medal ranking system’ it will be better handled by 343. =)

I got my first perfection, went to the post game lobby, expected to see my untouchable perfection show up there…No, instead first strike 7 revenge medals and a sniper spree show up…none of which were mine. Ah well, at least people can underestimate the good players now.

I had a game where I got an overkill yesterday, but there it wasn’t a top medal, a killing spree and shotgun spree were… WTF! Same thing happened with a perfection the day before.

12 pummels
3 double kills
I got a killing frenzy 2 triple kills and 10 sniper headshots that game…
