What difficulty will you start on? For me ill go for heroic first.

Legendary so I can break my controller/sanity.
This is like the 5th time this was posted. Always Legendary first for several reasons:

Bragging rights.

If Legendary is anything like Reach (or even Halo 3), it isn’t very difficult.
Legendary for sure it increases the games epicosity 10 fold.
Well as long as your not dying constantly.

then easy so I can laugh hysterically as I stand in the middle of the battlefield and not be touched!
then finally: legendary! so I can die billions of times over and see an extension to the story.
Normal. I like to use the campaigns to get a good feel for how the rest of the game will play, which tends to be easier when I’m stuck in a room with 15 guys beating me to a bloody respawn because I haven’t quite figured out what weapons work best on them yet.
After basic skill has been established…yeah, I’m going legen…wait for it…dary!!

Yup, I usually play normal then legendary coop
Traditional style Legendary because I believe you can’t enjoy the best of a game’s campaign with-out having the hardest difficulty played on it.

4-player coop, legendary with my best friends!
Since Halo 3, I’ve always played on Heroic first. That way, it’s easy enough to get to enjoy the story, gameplay, etc., but it’s tough enough to provide a challenge. I also get to reply again on Legendary for more replayability.
Legendary of course its the only way to play Halo all night long after the midnight release plus you get all the dif. achievements.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that Reach’s legendary was the hardest.
