I’m talking as an option so you could toggle between 1st and 3rd. I feel like the Warthog and Mongoose especially would be so much fun in first person.

Not something I would use but I can see why people would enjoy this. I think it would make me nauseous, haha.
Ah, the memories of getting in the warthog passenger seat in H:CE. Couldn’t aim whatsoever, but the experience was awesome. I doubt it’ll be practical for online matchmaking, but with a toggle everyone can be happy.
I would’t mind. Could be fun.

From a competitive standpoint it makes no sense to use 1st person mode, but from an immersion point of view it would be much better. I’d love to use it in campaign, flying a Banshee over the open world map while looking through the Banshee window would be immense. Make the sky battles very exciting.
I always liked that in Battlefield, even if it was less useful I always used the fighter jet in first person mode.
I’m ok if they add that as an option, but I prefer 3rd person for driving. As long as one does not replace the other. My biggest issue is the driver side though, the amount of times I’ve gotten into the passenger seat to drive is ridiculous

Absolutely! A lot of games you just move across into the driver seat. While it’s annoying, I can’t help but laugh when it happens and so I’m okay with it existing.
Especially when you’re shooting at someone and they do it and they’re just perched in the passenger with their weapon out. The big getaway didn’t quite pan out.
