If they did that boarding and hijacking would be way to easy.
Im like the first person in the games. But in Halo it’s amazing. In Halo CE the first person in the Warthog it’s WoW!!!.

It’s funny, I played some CE with my friend the other day, and I completely forgot about this feature; it was awesome, ha ha!

However, I think that ^ he has a point. It would bring down your situational awareness way too much. Still an awesome Idea though.
I always loved this about Halo CE, it makes it much more immersive and gives a kind of a new view on the world around you.
As much as I love CE, that is one thing I am glad is gone. It was a pain in the butt to aim in and was just nauseating for me.

In the Wraiths cockpit there are monitor screens that show you a 360 degree view of your surroundings. In 3rd person you can only see in front of you unless you look to your side.
Or we could take the Battlefield approach. 1st pov to 3rd pov with the press of a button.
