I doubt it. Chief was sleeping in the port-side cryo tube at the end of Halo 3, and in the teaser trailer at E3 2011.
This looks more like he’s in the aft-side tube for some reason. Doesn’t make a lot of sense, unless they’re changing it just because.

Wow. They’re really turning Chief into a bad -Yoink- in Halo 4.
In previous Halos he was kind of on par with Elites, but in Halo 4 he’s more at his EU level of strength, punching an Elite in the face and spending him flying anime-style.
Also, footage of mechs moving and shooting… I hope we get to pilot them!

Remember they said that Chief has left the pod before Halo 4.

i really dont think it’s that, i think this is the moment chief gets out of the tube when the dawn has encountered with requiem, i dont think 343 will shows chief getting out of the tube before that event. I dont think chief put himself into a different cryo tube after waking up previously but who knows it would be.

It’s not a leak, it was shown and recorded at either RTX or SDCC, it was live on Twitch TV.

I swear, look at the first & third screens… 343i must be using black magic to make this game run on XBOX36, because it looks absolutely stunning. It’s even better looking than Crysis and Farcry, IMO. Well above Halo 3 and Reach for sure, if only for lighting and overall atmosphere.

What I’d like to know, is why he diddn’t go for his trusty AR that he placed comfortably beside his cryo tube in Halo 3 instead of wondering around the room to find a BR that he had no previous knowledge of before hand?
