First game of a session can't connect to dedserver

So this has been happening for months and I can’t find anyone else it happens to and, from looking at the forums doesn’t seem to be a common issue, but at the start of pretty much every session - and definitely every day - when I try to find my first game I get through to 4/4 and never load in, getting a could not connect to dedicated server error. It’s annoying but end of the day easy get around for me.

It would also explain the number of games I seem to join where at the last second someone drops. For some game modes not an issue, but others stops a match being made. If it’s a common enough issue… would surely improve matchmaking for all.

In order to analyze your situation, more details would be needed: What connection do you use? Do you connect to xbox live via wifi or lan? If you use a wifi connection, have you tried to connect via cable? How far is the console from the router in case of wifi connection? Is the console on the same level as the router? Does the problem occur only in the first game of the session or randomly?

Wired connection over a broadband with excellent connection and no other issues.

Only the first game of the session.

Seems to be a bigger issue than I thought:

It seems to be a really big problem! But it also seems that they are already working to understand something, so let’s wait and see what happens!
