So I got that email 2 days ago, I see people talking about insider app? I have yet to see a second email from insider and don’t know what the process entails.
It looks like steam users get a code emailed to them but what about Xbox ,I’m aware I probally won’t get access untill tomorrow I’m just curious how this process works as the first email was pretty vague.
Whenever 343 are ready to kick off the actual flight, they will send you a second email and also a DM here on Waypoint. The DM here contains all the links to the Halo Insider Support site that show you how to download and access the builds. They will also have your Steam key if you are flighting on Steam.

Some users have seemingly been able to download/update the build via the Xbox Insider hub, likely because they were part of the first flight, nothing will be playable yet as no access has been granted. That won’t be granted until 343 starts things off
So theirs no information released yet for doing anything else Bar waiting for additional instructions.? First time signing up to this sorta thing.
The flight is on hold at the moment as 343 are dealing with a late-game technical issue. No codes or emails providing access to builds are likely to be sent until decisions have been made and updates posted. An update is likely to come out in the AM, 343 time [PST] with further details.

Those of us that was on the first flight, it updated the app we already had. If you wasn’t on first flight it will show up to download when they release it. It can also be 343 doing it in waves, so even if some people can download it, it’s most likely so there isn’t hundreds of thousands of people downloading it at same time which is what caused problems last time when there was alot less people. Flight starts same time regardless of if people can download app
