DISCLAIMER: I suffer from seizures, my monitor is already tuned for my seizure problems, but the filter they use on Deadlock and Torque trigger my seizures, and instead of removing it they add it to a another map. I’m medicated I have keppra.
It’s so freaking obvious 343 doesn’t give a damn about people who have seizures, motion sickness or colorblindness.
So they add the same filter in Deadlock into Torque.
Now I have to -Yoinking!- dashboard everytime Torque pops up on the freaking map in Arena and any social playlist.

If you look at the explosions they are much more orangey than usual I tried my hardest to play through it since it was ranked but, now I feel like my head is going to explode and very foggy.

I think they altered the base lighting brightness and contrast on a few maps. The sunset Alpine canvas is lit much more brightly than before, affecting my current ongoing Forge project.

Dude that sucks its tough enough playing color blind but you having seizures and being unable to even look at the screen that’s gotta suck dude.
There has to be a way for you to set your monitor to get rid of that color or change it enough. It probably sucks to have to keep experimenting with setting but it should be possible you would think. Try different brightness or contrast… maybe try to wear sunglasses on those maps?

Game developers cannot account for every condition someone might have, it’s unfortunate that you suffer from this though. The game industry has been taking into account colour-blindness in providing alternative hud colour options. (not sure if Halo 5 has this).
However unfortunately with your situation I would not risk having a seizure over a game.
So they are supposed to make a change for one person? Unless your a professional player, I don’t see that happening. I’m sorry for your condition man, really, I can’t imagine how much that sucks. If you can’t adjust your tv, then just dashboarding seems to be the only solution.

I don’t know but if I was him and as much as I love Halo I would be trying just about anything. I would get several different pairs with different shades and maybe different color lenses. Would make the game a bit difficult but maybe could adjust eventually.
I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person who suffers for seizures, so again they would be helping a lot of people who suffer from seizures not just me. And adjusting lighting back to it’s normality isn’t that big of a change.

Frankly, toggles for post processing effects on consoles are long overdue anyway. Why do I have no control over how I experience the game? I’ll accept that changing the FoV may not be viable because the xbone GPU is just that bad, but surely turning off things like motion blur, chromatic abberation, and those horrendous filters could only improve performance?

I’m a huge fan of the way torque looks, and would love to keep it the same for me, but there should be a Seizure Mode™ for people like you. It’s a shame
