Another wall glitch has been discovered on Haven. I’m sure some of you already know this, but that’s not my complaint. My complaint is that 343 should have made sure all their levels didn’t have gaps like these where people could get into. Another thing, if 343 can add the Mantis to Meltdown (At least that’s what I heard, it wasn’t there before) and add SWAT, why can they not simply fix these big game breaking glitches for a lot of game modes? All it takes is a simple kill barrier in Forge and it’s done.
I don’t imagine myself jumping and crouching at walls to see if I can get inside of them.
Well in all fairness, it isn’t exactly the programers fault as much as it is the corporate suits.
These type of games are NEVER tested fully, they’re rushed and gold locked to get them in stores in time for Christmas.
In the past yeah people wanted to take better care with things like that, but with XBL allowing devs to release patches, they’ve understandably gotten lazy.
It is sort of a double edged sword. It is great for us to never have to worry about a game breaking glitch, because it will be patched. On the other side games will be released to a lower standard because the devs intend to patch as they go.
You really can’t blame them for this one.
If 343 has some hidden trick up their sleeve for magically making this game better and actually addressing the community directly to at least tell us theyre attempting to fix the MANY problems wrong with this mess, they havent shown it yet. Its been over a week. The first week a game comes out should be the proper time for the devs to recognize faults and exploits within the game, and tweak them accordingly. So far, weve seen the banshee (instead of the mantis) removed from valhalla while the complex spot is still glitched. Also, they added an impossible challenge in order to catch boosters…seriously? Boosters? Boosters only ruin the game for themselves, and youre making this game even worse than it already is by seemingly not giving a s**t about your community.
They hear your voices. It’s just that some of your voices have stupid opinions that don’t matter. Like the Mantis in Ragnorok? Who cares about that? Your whole team shoots at it and he dies. Problem solved! It’s not like they go around looking for places to put glitches in. The Complex glitch will be fixed soon. It’s been posted in a bunch of forums already.
