343 are you -Yoinking!- kidding??? This is -Yoink-. It’s been a week and it’s not even halfway fixed? Way to release a broken game. Maybe next time don’t try to put 4 -Yoinking!- games on one disk.

That time of the month, eh?
Four games on one disc isnt the problem, its servers and general bugs, plus they were going to release an update within a week but have delayed by a couple of days to get more fixed thus eliminating the need for multiple updates. You really didnt do your research did you?
It has been a week, go do something productive for a few more days until the patch comes.

Where do you guys get your updates on whats going on?
Ive had a look around the site and read the sticky titled “Latest update from 343i” but I find it difficult to see any updates on anything, just forum members guessing the state of affairs.
Is there a particular place for official updates and news?
Also I’m assuming from what you have all written that the Wednesday patch that would solve all MP issues is now in fact NOT happening. Is that right?

IGN posted a video explaining that the update has been delayed (big word, quite different from the phrase ‘not happening’) to allow for more time to fix bugs and server issues.
Ahh sorry I see its supposed to be on Friday now.
Jeez. Was going to leave Farcry, GTA and DIA until after wasting a few months of my life on Halo but not so sure now.
Just want to get stuck into some hardcore gaming.
A week really isn’t long…people act as if its been 2 months. Get a life and quit crying. If you think 4 games on one disk is bad then why did you buy it? Might just be the most stupid statement I’ve seen today. Means a lot considering how many hate posts there are in a day.

Yes there is something wrong with your wording. ‘No its not happening’ means it isnt happening at all, I never claimed it to be releasing today and the whole point of my post was to explain how it IS (big word here again, quite a different meaning from the word not) happening but at a later date.
Also I happen to be on the forums and have just come on after arriving home from college, the length of time is irrelevant and Im merely typing quickly and being polite by replying fast. Plus this is normal discussion, your just wording it really badly and I have evidence to support my claim unlike you.

343 announced they were releasing the patch today (Wednesday). This is the last I have heard.
When I said “it is not happening” it was related to a statement made. It was in context. The only referred timescale was in the statement made by 343.
READ THIS NEXT BIT CAREFULLY
The phrase “it is not happening” is not a default absolute statement, it relates to whatever “IT” is. In this instance “Wednesday”.
It is not happening today (Wednesday) - are you actually disputing this?

No I never disputed that it wasnt happening today, I even mentioned in the first post where you quoted me that it isnt happening today and is happening later on. That means that it ISNT happening TODAY, but IS happening LATER THIS WEEK. Do you understand the entire point. I claimed you were wrong as I had up to date evidence which was more recent than what you last heard, hence I disputed you comment on it NOT HAPPENING.

So what’s your solution? To keep -Yoinking!- until what? Do you seriously think you and a hundred other people who even go so far to return their copies to Gamestop will actually be taking money away from Microsoft/343?

If a product I paid money for was UNEXPECTLY broke to the suprise of both parties I would happily wait as I am doing now and would do irregardless of the price. They havnt purposely made it broken like you believe they have.

Read my last post again. It clearly explains what the statement means. “Its not happening” is a contextual statement, not an absolute one.
Anyhow, I wont partake in this conversation anymore.
I came here to find out if there is an official link or something that will keep me up to date the the progress of Halo.
Would it be possible to get some sort of pointer in this direction. I really have no time to argue.

I did npt say they messed up when they should have tested the servers before release, but -Yoinking!- on forums isnt goingto help.
