Blue Team will apparently have more dialogue in Halo 5 than any of their previous appearances in all Halo media combined.
Locke is apparently an EX ONI agent (why he has the ONI symbol on his armor I’ve no idea).
I was just reading those articles, some interesting details, and everything coming out this month just keeps making the hype that much better. Glad to see Blue team detailed out to those who don’t know much about them.
Thanks for linking these articles, I’d really like to hear more dialogue from MC and blue team as a whole because I never really liked his silent warrior image that was promoted in previous Halos (especially CE) but I also hope 343 doesn’t include useless conversations…
Side note: Did anyone noticed that there is a scope on Kelly’s shotgun? (Source: Image of BT inside the linked article)
That is interesting that Locke left ONI and is part of the Spartan IV Program, yet he still has the ONI symbol on his armor.
Hopefully this puts to rest the ridiculous notion of Locke just being a puppet of ONI who’s only out to harm the Chief.
Tanaka looks half men and Vale looks kinda wierd, but that’ just my opinion.

True…Tanaka resembles a -Yoink!-
not sure if I’m the only one but… I am excited to see Buck back in action but it’s going to be a small but noticeable adjustment having him take a none leadership role. Will always think of him as a squad leader not follower. Will be interested to see how his character plays out.
Tanaka looks great IMO. Much better than her look from Escalation and Vale looks stunning. Very attractive.

Maybe Buck is second in command and will help Locke lead the group. Not giving full on commands, but suggestions to Locke.

maybe… I know this isn’t going to happen but I just hope he doesn’t become a simple yes man to Locke.
Vale does look a little weird. Tanaka looks ready to -Yoink- up some Covenant, given her bg as well. Disagree with her looking like a man comments, women can have short hair. Cat looked combat hardened, a little rough in the face (scars) and had short hair, but didn’t look like a male (especially from waist below).
Tanaka and Vale look weird not bad just odd. They look bug eyed.
I think the women look fine. They look normal, not some Barby beauty queen.
I think the ONI logo might be more of a marker of where he came from. So another spartan can see him and have an idea of his skillset. All the others seem to have a logo in the same area.
I am surprised they didn’t show blue team’s faces.

You’re actually right. They all seem to have a symbol displaying their former origins. Locke has an ONI one. Tanaka has one on her chest piece. Vale has one as well. And Buck has an ODST insignia on his chest plate.

Please shut your mouth. There’s no standard for what women are supposed to look like. Transgender women look like women because they’re women. Halo Waypoint is no place for your rude comments.
When you’re roughly 2 metres tall and have been augmented to punch through Covie skulls with ease, being ‘acceptably/conventionally pretty to a bunch of norms’ probably isn’t high on your list of concerns.

It doesn’t actually say that Locke left ONI. Just that he was promoted to Spartan. He could very well still be in ONI’s employ, particularly since his armor still has their logo.
I mean I really doubt he was that big of a fan of an intelligence agency that he decided to basically get an ONI tattoo on his new MJOLNIR. That’d be a little ridiculous, don’t you think?

Amen to that. Holly Tanaka is a warfighter. Looking gorgeous comes second to getting the job done. In any case, however, she is a very beautiful woman and so is the actress her likeness takes after, Cynthia McWilliams.

It says he’s an Ex-Agent of the Office of Naval Intelligence. I’d say that means he left ONI.
And like the UrbaneRocket495 said above, it seems like all of Fireteam Osiris has a marker on their chest plates that show their former origins. Locke an ONI one, Buck an ODST one, and both Tanaka and Vale have one as well. All in the same spot.
