The only characters I could possibly see dying are Vale and Tanaka. Locke, Buck, Chief, Fred, Kelly and Linda are all too iconic to kill off.
Funny i have been thinking about this for the past 2 weeks. Frank said something along the lines of “the ending of halo 5 being shocking” with the direction the are taking it. I could picture them killing off a character like buck. The story of reach really hit me the hardest because these characters around me actually weren’t invincible and could and did in fact die.

Yeah I hope shocking was more referring to humanity or blue team being played or something like a flood/forerunner or even precursor comeback. But I have a strong feeling that Arby or someone from blue team will die, Halsey is also a pretty likely victim judging from that “reaching out with her hand” scene from the sprint that looked like the classic Hollywood “being stabbed in the back” scene.
Maybe Halsey reveals that she played everyone and she’s ultimately on the enemies site in the end? Who knows, only time will tell.

I missed that bit…which one was it from?
possibly maybe the teams later in the game decide to work together (forerunner death machines > chief being awol) and get split up and then part of blue works with part of osiris to regroup with the rest of their teams? i dunno, would be interesting

What if I say no one will die.
My prediction was that two members of each team are going to die and the remaining 4 will create a new team I think the deaths might be Vale, Tanaka, Fred and Kelly…If I am correct of course
I don’t like it when my peas touch my mashed potato’s… I just realized I’m the same with Blue team and Osiris.
Or maybe, they team up and mix match. For example, Locke, Fred, Linda, and Vale is a team for a mission and then Master Chief, Buck, Kelly, and Tanaka is the other team for a mission. I would love this.

Ah sorry it was the A hero reborn ViDoc not the sprint… Somewhere in the middle in the part where it is talked about that 343 wants people to be shocked at the end of the campaign
I wouldn’t mind if they teamed up, but I’d rather no one die ( which I suppose is why they would kill them) blue team have been around from the start and are only just now being included in the games so I feel that would be a waste and they’ve put a lot of effort into telling osiris story, books, Web series whole comic arcs dedicated to them. I also don’t want a repeat of gears 3 where if you were anyone but player one you got your character changed constantly

I know you are only saying that because Vale and Tanaka are both new additions to the Halo Universe.
