When in a fireteam with your friends it would be great if they were in your squad as well.

I assume you mean in BTB? If so, I agree. I want to say it’s a bug, as it doesn’t seem like intentional design to me.

I would hope so, if your joining with your Fireteam it should pair you with them, I’ve ran into this many times as well.
What does a squad do anyway? I feel like they should just make it so that people in the fireteam have a different color rather than the squad.
