I saw 7 Jolly Roger emblems in the WZ matching lobby as my game was about to start. My mind immediately went into strategy mode, how I was going to rank up the fastest, because if I was going against a fireteam it would be a battle. I wanted to take as many of them down as I could.
Prepare for battle on Noctus… 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… What? I was put on their team, and … we lost. Classic.

When a team has the same emblem, it’s kinda cute.
That’s pretty much how it goes for me, too. But recently, it’s been more of… block a fire team that was way overmatched for my level of skill… play against them 4 more times in the next 6 games. The Halo population is just so low now that it can no longer avoid matching you against players you’ve blocked already.
Haha, that’s a rollercoaster of emotions. Oh no a big team, I’m gonna get smashed, Oh I’m on their team we are gonna dominate. We lost.

When you meet your doppelgangers in Halo 5
Fireteams of 6-12 players doesn’t necessarily mean they are skilled. I once was in a group of 3 and we beat a fireteam of 9 all in the same spartan company. The only ‘skill’ they rely on is communication. Not all fireteams of course.
