Fireteam comm's

can somebody please tell me if losing communications with your fireteam whilst navigating lobbies is an intended feature?

ive asked in support but no answers.

This game seems to want to encourage a competetive team ethic yet the fact you can’t stay in game chat and communicate with your fireteam only encourages people to stay in party chat. This is detrimental to online matchmaking and team ethos.

Thanks for reading.

Yeah it’s really lame that you can’t keep chatting with your fireteam between games. I would recommend staying in party chat with your team and switching to game chat when the game starts and switching back right before the end of the game.

Thanks for your agreement. I was starting to wonder if I was the only person concerned with this.

Yeah I’ve had that same suggestion offered to me a few times before. I’ve tried to implement the switching back and for between chats with my friends but it doesn’t last long… Either someone forgets to switch from one to the other or they’re busy rushing in between games rolling smokes etc as the search times are so low (a good thing) so we end up staying in one or the other of the chat modes.

The biggest problem though I think is that it turns out to be too much of a potch and other people just stay in party chat as it’s easier.

We’re not usually a team of four so we want to communicate with random team mates but it’s rarely possible as they’re usually in private party chat or mute.
