i mean dont get me wrong i like firefight, but i would almost rather have a longer/ more difficult campaign , more maps for MM, and an improved forge.
or what if firefight just took place on Multiplayer maps, cause reach shipped with 9 FF and 9 MM thats 18 maps but people got sick of those 9 maps fast. it seems kinda silly to produce maps that aren’t outfitted for all play that wastes space.
just want to get a feel for how the community feels on this subject.

I don’t get the logic people have. You don’t have to make FF at the expense of multiplayer of campaign. 343 has had 4 years to develop Halo 4 and probably have a dedicated team doing FF. Either way, they could just pass it on to Sabre Interactive or Certain Affinity like they did with CEA and the Defiant and Anniversary Map Packs.
as long as its like odst firefight with the settings of reach’s for sure!

Not at the expense of multiplayer maps, but I would like to see it return in a difficult manner. That was what made ODST FF fun. It was a survival mode, it was difficult. Reach’s was so easy. Maybe we’ll be able to make our own FF maps in Forge too.

And where is the guarantee cutting FF will make the maps any better? If the maps are complete crap then you have bad maps and no FF. All this community seems to want to do is just cut, cut, cut everything, I swear.

I want Reach reminiscent Firefight.
I don’t know why everyone is fixated on having a version of Firefight with NO OPTIONS.
You could MAKE the Firefight settings like ODST if you want. I have a lot of fun with Reach Firefight, and it’s startling and disturbing that people want less options.
Halo 4 firefight should, if anything, give you MORE options, and MORE things to kill. Bigger and better.

Who the hell cares about credits? I have no doubts that Halo 4 is going to bring back an actual ranking system. Credits only effected you cosmetically. Why the hell did people make a big deal about boosters in FF? I can understand MatchMaking, where you want to win games, but in FF?

Halo 3 would be the viable comparison it shipped with more MM maps and was played by alot more people for a whole lot longer

Doesn’t answer my question, where is the guarantee that FF would make Halo 4’s maps worse? Halo 3 didn’t have FF, but that doesn’t explain why it’s maps were good. If 343 really needed help, they could have Certain Affinity do the maps just like they did with the Defiant and Anniversary maps.

well if your looking for me to tell the maps will be awesome, i can’t i have’nt played halo 4 and neither have you. like it or not firefight will take up space on the disc.
im not here to argue i like FF but if Halo 4 ships with 9 maps and a forge world i’ll rage quit.
