Firefight would be better with engineers.

Engineers, to me, were the big game changer in firefight. Their introduction meant that everything could take much more damage until you killed it, creating tense situations in which a snap judgement was required: do you attempt to take out the engineer as fast as possible in order to debuff the enemy drawing all fire in the process, or soften up the enemies protecting it so that you could attack more or less uninterrupted? Their presence marked a spike in difficulty which I believe was characteristic of the gametype.

Problem is, engineers don’t exist in Halo 5. The closest we have are watchers, and while they act similar in many respects, they can only protect one enemy at a time and don’t take much damage to defeat whereas an engineer protected several enemies and took bullets like a champ. I fear that we’ll be worse off for their absence.
