firefight will be miss in halo 4

Meh. I haven’t played firefight in like 6 months. I did used to enjoy it though. Can’t say I’ll miss it, but I wouldn’t say I’m happy it won’t be back.

I wasn’t too thrilled with Reach’s either.

It was pretty much just bonus EXP to me.

I don’t care, Spartan Ops is going to be much better, and feature Firefight-like missions.

I would have preferred it if both were implemented into Halo 4. However if I were able to choose which game mode appears in halo 4, without a doubt I would pick Spartan Ops. Gameplay implemented into the story and narrative, more frequent DLC, and outstanding looking multiplayer sealed the deal for me. Basically:

Story-based multiplayer content > Random survival mode

Reach Firefight was a joke at best. Required no effort to play. I’m glad Spartan Ops is replacing it.

For a guy who doesn’t have access to Xbox Live, this is certainly a decrease in replay value.
