Firefight way too hard!!!!!!!

Not sure what Halo 3: ODST’s FF has anything to do with this.

If you like the current diificulty, that’s great; however, many in this forum do not share that sentiment. Even if you disagree with them, they deserve to be heard out. Telling them to ‘git gud’ isn’t constructive/helpful.

People just need to use their REQs, talk to one another so use your mics people, also with the bosses I notices people will spread out and attack whatever boss they want, they don’t go after the same one. In order to kill the bosses at round 4 and 5 you need to go after one boss at a time. Focus all fire on one, that is the way to do it. Also firefight is a team effort no a lone wolf deal.

And your right, people are spreading out at the bosses because everyone wants to be the one to kill the boss and its easier if you pick the lesser targetted boss, but this is a BAD idea. They have shields, they starts recharging quickly, this is why they are so tough, most will start recharging within the time is takes a scorpion to reload, you need continual fire, and reqs can kill, but sometimes having someone with an AR to keep hitting the boss while the big weapons reload means that their shields wont start to recharge and the big weapons can actually hit the target, not the shields.

I’ve had no trouble really (then again playing with a full lobby with full communication.) Defend the garage is still BS but some enemy types could use a health nerf as well.

My last match was going swell, I was in the lead, trumping all the rest, when the dreaded find and kill objective came up. No problem, Iv’e done it before, I said in my wasp. we had 3 minutes to kill 25 knights. Well the problem with this task was that only 16 knights were killed because where they were spawning was a mystery. Not only did we lose the match, my in tact wasp didn’t live up to it’s full potential. At first I thought this new firefight was hard, it is for those which don’t have reqs to spend, but the new warzone commendations give out silver and gold packs which is good and the amount of RP is also great. There is no doubt many, many flaws with firefight which may be addressed, but to me it’s not good enough, the whole point of a beta was to suggest things to improve. clearly the community thought it was too easy, yes I have to agree with that, but taking out necessary things such as waypoints and increasing the respawn rate is just going to piss people off as well as the spawning positions for Spartans and AI. 343, tone it down a tad, just so that the people with fewer reqs, (you know any new customers who might potentially buy the game) can actually get a kill. and for Christ sake put stupid waypoints on enemies!

the AI’s are way overpowered and the fact that they spawn in more crawlers and soilders every second it make it nearly impossible to beat the match and there is too many of the AI’s you have to kill in a short time like the gost Muraders ,and the spawn time it takes so long its another reason why firefight in halo five is horrid,and finally is the is only like probably 8-9 people in the match against over spawned AI’s that probably relates to when it lags out and you go to the title screen,and in conclusion reach’s firefight was way better even if it lagged a few time halo five guardians lags so much I wish halo reach could come back re-mastered.

it is very difficult without reqs. it was designed expressly to have you use reqs. Which is why they shower you with reqs for playing.

OK. We have to little shield, no breathing room, about 10 soldiers in 3 seconds, soldiers WAY to much health, 4 phaetons on the second round, run out of ammo REALLY fast, the fact that i can be behind a wall and have a suppressor round go around the wall to hit me, crappy team mates. I came here i remind myself of Halo Reach not play Rainbow 6: Halo

Out of the 8 WZFF matches I’ve been in so far, I won 6 in a row after losing the first two. I began to realize that vehicles are very useful. Scorpions, Wasps, Banshees, because the important thing is that you need to have significant and consistent firepower (infinite ammo) as well as evasiveness or toughness to really be effective enough to obliterate the swarms of A.I. I typically spawn a Wasp right when I reach REQ level 3, then I work towards a Scorpion or Banshee depending on the round and the map.

Edit: I’ve been soloing, by the way. I’m a lonewolf, I almost never team up with anyone. No communication, playing with randoms, and I still won 6 in a row.

I think they should have you at level 9reqs so it it total mayhem and the respawn time cut in half seriously I could be halfway through the regular warzone then warzone firefight.

Some final round 5 objectives are easy othersare plain impossible such as 7 promethean bosses including 3 being warden eternals in the Home Base its impossible to bring anything with the required damage output in there let alone focus fire in those situations literally impossible dont know what 343 were thinking.

I love the hardened difficulty way better than the beta but when its impossible situations im sorry i can complain what i want idgaf what others say im a veteran halo player my profile isnt linked to my GT before you judge ffs

Ladies and gentleman

I have played 7 matches and my teammates have killed all the bosses and won 5 . Its not that’s hard to kill the bosses if everyone has a great team to play with. If anyone what to add me your more than welcome. There was a lot of people complain the bosses were weak and there was no challenge to firefight. 343 has listen and doing there best to please every one but its not going to happen. Your going to have some people that want kill everything insight and not being a team player. The groups that I had today were great and we kill the grunt mech and the others. Its a battle not a dance rehearsal. 343 is going to listen again and make adjustments that needs to be adjusted.

They were probably thinking with their wallet

It’s easier with a well co-ordinated fireteam

also don’t forget about the mantis’s on the sanghilios map that is insane hard I think they should of used those bosses as mini bosses in the campaign of halo 5 that would of made the campaign more remember-able they should put every other boss besides the warden first before the warden in the last level.

I would say in the middle like the grunt boss not too buff,and everything needs to be a little bit less buff it makes it impossible to win.
