I feel like the players should be able to decide, with a vote, on the kind of experience they want to have in that particular FF match. Want a relaxing pve experience? Vote easy. Want to get sweaty and have things go down to the wire? Vote legendary.
But, of course, this will never happen. The harder it is, the more REQs you have to use; more REQs used, the less you have. Which, in turn, incentivises the purchase of REQ packs.

Your “tactics” are simply using all your high level REQs.

It should be difficult. Maybe you’re forgetting g because of how reach turned the mode all arcade like, but the original firefight in odst was no walk in the park either. I want this mode to be difficult- where you need a solid, coordinated team to stand a chance. I love what 343 did with this- they’ve effectively given us a mode which is even troublesome for veteran halo players. Well done.
It’s supposed to be hard, that’s the point. You are supposed to learn how to beat it.
It’s a challenge. Don’t play it if you don’t like the challenge. Simple.
I seriously don’t want it to get nerfed to hell just because people don’t know what it’s about.
You don’t see From Software making Dark Souls easy do you?

On Sanctum the Promethean Mantis, one spawns in the garage, which shouldn’t happen since there is no way to get one in there in the first place.
Teamwork and planning.
Garage has to many options but simply do not fight from outside, grab a foot hold and defending the floor, not the building.
For the Mantis, 1 person with Plasma pistol, one with tank on the cliff outside, once the mantis is the in the middle simply stun it and fire. Rockets would work instead of a tank, heck grenades and AR fire would do it at this point. Sure it has a lot of health, but combined fire will kill it quickly, you have to remember the shields recharge quickly so you cant take them solo as your reloads would let them recharge.

Just a tip from someone whos only played a couple WZFF games. You can do some serious damage to a phaeton with a Corp worthog by yourself. I would drive, park/switch to gunner, shoot. If he started to look or shoot at me I back away into cover. Of course depends on the map and other variables, but I was able to almost destroy it by myself.

What does the year have anything to do with it?
Are you asking for a second FF playlist with less and weaker enemys.
OR
You asking for a vote system where at the beginning it asks “Do you want to play normal or easy mode?”
Either option is pointless, no reason to have 2 playlists and the vote option would mean EVERY game would have people dash boarding because their option didn’t win.
Damn, Firefight has not even been out for 24hrs and people are already complaining on hows it “to hard”.
Sorry for making the mode a fun challenge that is rewarding whether or not you win. It sucks that everything has to be easy to cater to your wants.
Really saying “get good” isn’t even an option here, it’s just sad that people are already complaining on the modes difficulty. If it were easy you’d win every game, and that wouldn’t be fun at all.

My sentiments exactly. If they ever nerf the difficulty I will never play the mode again.
