WARZONE FIREFIGHT TIPS TO WIN
8 MEMBERS - 7 TEAMMATES
BOSES
GRUNT GOBLINS/RELATIONS - Drops 1 is easy, just attack and kill - Drops 2 is a bit more harder but still easy - Use Power weapons and Vehicles If reqs are high enough. 4 members go for 1 - 4 members go for the other. that way time on both end can suppress each other out… so when one die, that 30s delay wont be as much effect, if both goblins are nearly half at life… its only a pain you are going for 1 at a time.
KNIGHTS - LIke any other- and sometimes spawn our knights alone with it. power weapons to blow out the back or head of the knights. easy shield drop. and use power weapons, explosive weapons, or heavy vehicle to tear to the remaining armor and destroy its face.
Soilders- Spatter Twice or rare occasions Once. First splatter drops shield, second kill
Ghost- Spartan Lazers or emp Blast/Voids Tear and Kenetic Rounds weapons.
Warden Eternal* - Drop 1 killing is easy. Drops 2 - Split like any other. 4 on 4. Use heavy Vehicles Tanks/Wraith and sometimes banshees. Stay a few yards back so tanks arent easily destroyed. trust a hannible tank can now be destroy in like 3 shots from warden. Shoots warden from far back. that if two warden though. but for 1… all go tag team, but be smart about it… if your team mates, have heavy vehicle like tanks, Pick off the crawlers, knights, watchers etc, thats protecting the warden while you team mates do the damage. If you are affraid you might not get the boss take down, I mean you are self FISH !! That needs to be cooked lol, well if you are affraid, just hit warden or any other boss with a few rounds of kenetic weapons(orange/yellow glow weapons} and that should do the trick.
Wraith- Emp Blast isnt to much a thing. lol, it works but theyll just recover from it fast. but thats if you have team work… hit him with rockets, lazers or even put a few round of whup azs on him.
Hunters - Open its back and relax its crack. plasma grenade launchers or heavy/explosive weapons work well against them. and split team… 4 for 2 and 4 for the other 2, it either drops 4 or 2 hunters depends.
Elites - Same like Soilders - splatter once or twice. If know vehicles, unlike the soilders, these bag boys can be emp blast. You know what that means right ?
IF Missing anything ? Let me know. And to Note you Guys - I experience this wins easy like this. its my opinion bases, but it always work for me and when im playing with my team. We are very good. Also, things might to turn out the same as everyone else warzone ff game. or rounds can be different, but its still can be based using the same methods.
Yea I’m kinda glad it’s harder than the beta… Adds to the halo feel of legendary difficulty. You know?
It feel too hard to tackle due to the fact that your REQ level is way too low to combat certain objectives… i’d suggest the REQ level being set.
Round 1 finish: REQ Lvl 3
Round 2 finish: REQ Lvl 5
Round 3 finish: REQ Lvl 7
Round 4 finish: REQ Lvl 9
This way you’d at least be able to call it decent REQs as the match progresses.
Firefight isn’t without flaws but I like the challenge of it. Being too easy would make the relay value lower. Winning 1 out of 5 matches keeps me coming back for more.
I agree with Sethro Tull83 on this one. Of course I haven’t played Halo 5 fire-fight very long and, as you can tell by my service record, I’ve never won a match but I have come pretty close but I’m always brutally murdered before me and/or my friends can win by the endless onslaught of covenant and promethean squadrons. My point is that Halo 5 fire-fight is hard and when players are brutally murdered, we/they don’t want to have to wait 30 seconds to get back in the fight.

The enemies need to be weakened significantly, the spawn time shouldn’t exceed 10 seconds, I understand the bosses because their bosses but this feels like CoD because spartans are weaker than the marines.
I just wanna chill man. I dont wanna have to focus 100 percent of the freakin’ time. I just wanna play, kill some aliens and tron robots, and not have to worry about getting one shotted by literally everything.

I do miss the arcade FF but this is still better than PvP when I’m getting owned
if you don’t start round 5 with at least 6 players in tanks, mantises, banshees or wraiths. You have no chance, don’t even try.
I’m starting to think that difficulty is about right, the time is what it needs to be increased. 5 minutes it’s not enough. Give us at lest 7 in round 5.
Again, the problem is not difficulty. It’s that everything is a ridiculous bullet sponge and you have no chance of kill things quickly enough unless your entire squad is focus-firing REQ spam on the bosses. Even the fodder enemies are bullet sponges now. What a joke.
I think they should nerf banshees at least a little bit the twin plasma turrets can kill you In less than a second. They see you you die instantly

This.
I agree with this. I found most of my frustrations and difficulties came from not having high enough REQ levels (not from a lack of kills/skill, etc). If they could adjust the REQ level increases or the time it takes to regain REQ energy, I think it would balance it a little better. It sucks trying to go against a boss without the appropriate weapon/vehicle.
It’s difficult, but for firefight veterans its a bigger challenge than Halo Reach
We almost always win, the times we don’t is when we are on Sanghelios and can’t kill the Grunt Goblin because people keep dying from him. I don’t understand why people complained so much that firefight is suppose to be very hard, then complain even more when it’s made to be more tough(especially in solo-hence why it’s a ‘cooperative’ experience only). In old Halo games firefight became increasingly difficult in waves. This is the same exact thing, except it’s rounds and there’s a lot less rounds. Is that what you mean to complain about…? If you guys can’t win, then there’s only one thing left you can do… git.gud.

You are right on that one I played the very first firefight on Halo 3 ODST and that was tuff but this firefight is nothing compare to ODST firefight.
The beta was great…
But I can actually die in firefight now…
Not fun anymore……
Thought firefight would be the only mode I would play…
Now it’s annother mode I’ll never play…
Get a party
simple solution, no need to whine around
Ya know, I tried it last night after not getting to play Wednesday night and, I agree that it is very hard, but for some reason it doesn’t really bother me. I mean, I went in figuring my W/L % is just going to crash no matter what as long as I’m queueing solo anyway (but your Warzone K/D will also go way up), it was nice to not care about win or lose, just sit there and get drunk and play Halo and shoot stuff, the way casual should be.
I told 343 in the feedback thread, the one big thing I have is, I don’t mind bosses with a metric crapton of health, but the REQ levels do need to raise faster to have a fair chance to take them out. Last night on Darkstar we were surrounded by Phaetons and we’re all chipping away at them with BR’s because we’re still only level 3.
My teams of randoms didn’t make it past round 3 in 4 out of 5 games - the 5th one we won. And again to be honest, I actually kind of didn’t care, for some strange reason. Even in the losses I had a good time, I just had to stop caring so much about the W/L % issue.

This is a video game, we shouldn’t have to ‘git.gud’ in order to have a fun time. I could go all day killing video game bosses like a badass, and while I understand that a boss should be challenging, that does not mean that we literally have to go against massive odds to win. Right now, the game is set at a difficulty nobody can seem to agree on, Personally, I don’t play with too many of my friends, so I have to rely on randoms in order to play the game. Sadly, not everyone wants to communicate or wish to use their mic, but they really shouldn’t have to in order to have fun playing a game. The fact that people can play together and win together will have people coming back for more, but if you lose over and over again, you risk people bailing on the game entirely. Not everyone wants to compete nor do they want things simply handed to them either.
