I agree, but instead of it being hard for me at the end, it tends to be difficult at the beginning when you dont have alot of reqs to use to take down the bosses.

Thank you! I didn’t prepare a speech for this, but you essentially saved humanity as far as I’m concerned (it was driving me crazy ‘to’, JK!). Besides people using ‘alot’ (not a word in our language)… This one is right up there on my list.

Raid on apex 7 one on last round, the gold grunt goblin takes the whole entire 5 mins to kill. Then you get 2 mythic hunters. The grunt goblin should stay but as the last boss. And it’s bloody annoying when you don’t have warnings to where ai will spawn.

Don’t rush it, 5 minutes is a bit long for any of the first round objectives. If you do that you can at least have level 3-4 REQs and if not then spawn a warthog and distance yourself from knights and just go ham on them.

Always be positioned opposite of a teammate and just take turns distracting them. You don’t need to be in a party to do this one.

they were probably easy for you but literally hard for me. There were 4 of those hunters about a 100 knights protecting them and fresh ones kept spawning in. It was only round 3 and I only had level 3 reqs. So nothing I could do. Everyone else didn’t seem to have anything usual either. I did get to level 4 reqs though about 5 seconds before the game ended due to not being able to eliminate these hunters. You’d think they would’ve been damn easy to deal with. But the knights that protected them oh god so many incineration cannons just killing everyone then having to wait 20 seconds to respawn. I try not to use too much reqs as I like to save those for killing spartans luckily i have over 50 wraiths which are level 5.
R3 on darkstar yeah using plasma pistols actually for some reason forces the soldiers to abandon their phaetons and the phaetons blow up so i figured that out.
30 seconds and 3 wardens out there killing us at least give us level 9 unlimited to get stuff and respawns are massively bad covenants and pro. Spawn in base when it need to be defended how can we when there’s 4 knights in the base at level 2-3 or kill hunters at lever level 2-3 I mean how? We need less re-spawn time and more time on each mission 5 minutes to kill off all 3 wardens and what’s the rush? Also low down the levels for weapons and vehicles c’mon I can’t even get a good vehicle without getting a good level 5-6 We need update for this to hard even on level 1
Havent won a single match, its challenging but its too hard, at one time all my team had Manthis and we got our asees kicked by the armored grunt Knights team. Its just not possible to win a match in those conditions, you need to allow us to hijack enemies like in the campaign at least, that would increase chances, lessen respawn time as well, and stretch respawn time for Prometheans, i cant belive its easier to take down a Mythic Boss than a Phaeton due to all Knights and crawlers respawning behind you.
Please do balance the mode, greets.
P.S. And if you can add some kind of story bases missions as we had with Spartan Ops with real objectives rather than just defend station or cores.
YES YES IT IS THATS GOOD. Honestly the beta was sooo easy except for defending the garage. Finished firefight is a challenge, exactly what it should be.
The first day the update launched i won all the matches. Last night i think i might have won maybe two out of 5. I wasnt my best last night but still i like it. I now have something to look forward to when i play halo 5. Its a proper challenge even if it feels cheap at times. Im ready to outplay this cheap bull-yoink!
I’m glad that this “final” edition of Firefight is more difficult. The Beta definitely seemed too easy. I played my first game last night and we couldn’t get past the third round (it was the Banshee guys). Likely this is because we were all using “pea shooters” (BR, AR, etc.), but it also had something to do with the difficulty tweak. And that’s good. I’ll get more REQ’s over time and eventually be able to get past stuff like this which is exactly as it should be! Thanks, 343, Firefight is awesome! (And this is coming from a guy who had to hear Palmer say “Mission Failed” in her VERY disappointed voice.)

Ok, this I actually might have to agree with. I understand the concept (punishment for dying - more so as the rounds progress), but holy smokes, 15-20 seconds to re-spawn: Too Much!!! Especially if you’re killed by a single Banshee blast (Like I was. Several times.). BTW, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be killed by a single Banshee blast, you should, I’m just trying to demonstrate that dying has the potential to be frequent at times and therefore a shorter re-spawn time would be great.
Really? My team and I found it too EASY. The only time we didnt win was on that namshee raider boss in round 3 where we all had level 3/4 REQS and they could 1 shot us with regular banshee hits
