Firefight way too hard!!!!!!!

Those aren’t even that hard to be honest.

R2 Urban: If you position yourself right, you can defend any objective. Simply extend the first round so you can just splatter as many enemies as possible. Don’t rush it, 5 minutes is a bit long for any of the first round objectives. If you do that you can at least have level 3-4 REQs and if not then spawn a warthog and distance yourself from knights and just go ham on them.

R3 Apex: This is a joke right? Just focus on hunters. By now you should have anywhere from 4-6 REQs on average. Spawn a tank or splaser or something of the sort. Don’t focus too much on the Banshees. Kill 1/2 in the area and then just unleash on the hunter. If you can just camp back and destroy them without getting killed by Banshees then it’s your best bet. Always be positioned opposite of a teammate and just take turns distracting them. You don’t need to be in a party to do this one.

R3 Darkstar: I will admit. This is a tough one. Simply just focus 1 at a time. That’s all I can say strategy wise. Have a plasma pistol and/or an explosive weapon equipped and try to keep it down as long as possible.

I think the hardest one is any Warden round inside of a home base if you have terrible luck and the game randomizes him an unlimited army.
Also the Deadcon Mech guarded by knights, when the Knights focus on 1 target at a time.

My only problem is how the grunt goblins are bullet sponges. The bosses are actually somewhat easy if everybody uses a scorpion.

Too long time of the resurrection on the last waves. Very long wait to re-use cards powerful weapons or equipment. Add time bonus for killing the legendary enemy. Still it would be good to add a choice of difficulty for different skill of the player

You guys need to get over yourselves. It’s a game that we all love. If you can’t get used to the changes that 343 are implementing then you should up and leave and play Destiny.

I like the difficulty. At times it’s hard but if you have the correct vehicles it’s beatable

True its challenging but that’s the point. Why play firefight if you could just breeze through countless enemys. You need to be smart about how you play. Know when to charge in or stay back and provide cover/exploit the moment when an AI is distracted by other players. Know when to fall back to vehicles rather then using BRs or DMRs . So far the only matches I’ve lost in firefight have been because of players not wanting to use or not having stronger vehicles / weaponry.The BR is not answer to everything. Or they think that by taking out the respawning weaker AIs they can beat the round. I not a fan of the extended respawn time , 25 -15 seconds is pushing it. Drives me crazy when we lose because all the top players who have tried to take out the main boss came close but died are waiting to respawn and the lower players are taking too focused on a group of crawlers or grunts.

Its hard yes. but i find it fun, as for the warden, if he fires the insta kill gravimetric ball i found being in the air and booster dodging is one way to avoid it 9 times out of 10. but complaining about the difficulty is a lil pointless. if the respawn timer was at least 15 seconds maximum, that would be less painful.

Full disclosure: as far as Halo 5 is concerned, I am mediocre at best… probably below-average, as my Service Record can attest. However, I still thoroughly enjoy the game.

After 21 matches across two nights of playing Warzone Firefight, I think I can safely say that it is not too hard! Yes, it’s true that “Leeeroy Jenkins” will probably have a tough time staying alive in this game mode, but that’s one of the best parts. It takes some skill, some patience, and a healthy dose of req-related strategy to successfully complete all five rounds. My teams have only won three times in the aforementioned 21 games, but that simply makes it more satisfying when you do win!

343i, thank you for all of your time and effort bringing us Warzone Firefight. Please don’t lower the difficulty level in any way, the challenge level is great the way it is!

Yes, it’s a great challenge for the team. do you like 20-30 seconds to wait for a revival? It is very annoying. Especially when you need support and there is little time left.

I think the only thing that really makes it significantly more difficult is the increasing respawn timer. Aside from that, I think the mode is fine as-is.

My only issue with firefight is that it seems like there are maps that are easy to win, like Darkstar, and other maps were it is very, very difficult. Stormbreak’s round 5 is a bit much in my opinion. There are 2 knights to kill and then 3 wardens tucked away in the base. Only having 5 minutes makes it hard to get enough firepower into that small area and able to shoot. Stormbreak is really my only issue map, the others are alright and the losses on those were more due to lack of team work and lack of heavy weapons. Some ideas I think could make it better are shorter respawn timers and a time reward for killing a boss. I love playing this mode a lot and I think the devs did a good job implementing REQs in.

They should have just given us regular firefight. It was sooo much better, and no one whined. Weapon drops made it better. I’m never using req’s on AI’s.

I dont think its too hard overall. But a few of the objectives seem VERY poorly thought out and can mess up a good run if you get them in your match. The 3 wardens spawning in home base on round 5, defend the garage on escape from A.R.C (with multiple phaetons and way too many knights trying to keep you out), and the protect the object objective (when it spawns across the map with enemies already shooting it before you get there) are a couple examples.

So I just played a match on urban, round five rolls up and we have to kill soldiers on top of the armoury roof, okay not to bad. Then it announces that we have to kill not one, not two but three wardens (one being mythic) at the back of the home base where our scorpions can not go. We end up killing one by the time the round ends. Wtf is that objective.

My worst moment was when my team defeated the mythic Warden Eternal but the timer was at zero so it didn’t count even though we finished it at 0 secs. left I was depressed.
